Friday night pick-up games for new guys

Brisan and I are trying to gauge interest on games we'd like to run for folks who are new to LGFA and 11v11 FIFA.

Right now we're looking at Friday evening (Jan. 20th) for this but we realize Fridays can also bring schedule conflicts.

Hey guys, you 2 are literally the only ones who have expressed interest, so we kinda bagged the idea for tonight.

However, check out the other threads and you'll see teams are planning to run trial games.

Psych, what do you about if LG had a friday night puck for fifa? I coukd totally get a bunch of people from mutiple leaguws for that

 

Initially did it just for those who were new to this site and 11v11 in gerneral. Only got a little interest, but I think it was successful regardless.

Personally, I normally use Friday nights for FUT Champions. But I could be interested in the idea.

Initially though I would be worried about it conflicting with potential community shields on the other site? Thoughts? @Fatal Enjoyment

 

Fair point, but heres my thought, if you make it an actual deal, get a little media help and so fourth, such as get a guy to make userbars for the winners and people will come no matter what, everyone loves to throw around their fifa accomplishments and if they have a physical image to throw at people it will grow. Plus if its a common thing, like at least 2-3 times a month i bet it would get attention from everyone from every league. Lots of people can commit to 1 night versus a whole season. And i know im not the only person that doesnt do stuff every friday. Plus if we did it right, we could be done with the tournament by 10:30-11 so people could go out after
