First Person Football: ESPN Football 2K4!!!!

just announced from ign.com is a new feature for espn football (nfl 2k4). its a first person mode said to be the madden killer. just got a video from it and its looks great. you get to see what they see, and hear what they hear...including all the trash talking!!


what do you think about that?

This is gonna be fun. Trying to see around those big lineman to see the open reciever down the field or doing a stiff arm on the defender running right at ya. Man I cant wait to get this game.

 

Ok...I think this factor alone is what is gonna make me get ESPN over Fever!! Sweet!

I'm guessing that will be the official "throw up" view or motion sickness view. :wink:

 

this is cool and all but i probably wont play with it....it will be like the FP view in MGP

 

that picture kinda confuses me... since when can you read the writing on the inside of the helmet? Shouldnt his forehead be there?

it should be fun to play with, but of course everyone will play with the overhead veiw.

Yea, that video is pretty cool. Do you have to have that view on all the time...or can you go to the traditional view? It would get kinda old I think. It is a cool feature though.

 

they said that if you start the game from the fps view, you have to stick to it. if you want to go back, you have to start another new game.

 

Hmm....that is kinda dumb. We will see how it plays though.
