Fifa Impressions thr post your impressions below i played one game on amater to get used to the controls, i won 5-0 (local dutch teams). There seems to be a lot of AI assisting, i'm not sure if it was options i had setup or not. Either way it was tons of fun, game play is great
Quick impression.... The game is great... Played a couple of games on World Class and the game is very hard... Ball Control, Dribbling, scoring .....everything is much improved.....haven't found anything yet that gets on my nerves... I'm ready for anyone that wants a challenge online!!!! Let's get that league started TRIS!!!
It will be a good 2 weeks first Randy, for commisioner selection, sign-ups, team assignments, and the scoreboard creation. Not to mention the settings testing, which means anywhere up to a month I say.
The game is good, some lag with the Euro's but not enough to affect the game play. I like the this year you can battle for a corner kick, this guy online pushed off my defender enough to get a header, pretty cool. I don't know how to do it though I wish the lob passes were a little better having a hard time with them, on 2003 I had it mastered but now I am getting a little frustrated since it was part of my game and now I have to re-learn it. To combat pausers, the game has a clock and it also tells you that only 3 pauses can be done during the Match. They usually last a little over 30 seconds a pause. First touch is a key to the game must learn it all you'll get frustrated not being able to do it while everyone online seems to be pretty damm good at it avoiding your D with it. Shots from the outside are now very possible to score, Henry scored a great goal against me from about 25 yrds out. The tackle buttom is way different then 2003 its a lot harder now to take the ball away from someone just by running side by side with them. Great game, a league should be a blast and the best part of it, games online don't take too long to get them completed.
Game rules if you ask me. Scoring is hard on difficult levels as I am having trouble getting shots on net. Im sure I just suck at it now and the timing will come. Star players play like star players especially when shooting. Ifd online play is tight then this is definately going to be a fun league to play in.
Did you play FIFA 2004? Because you can do this on there just by hitting buttons. BTW, your impressions are pissing me off....only 31 more hours!
Got it in hand and well worth the money. You are right, we will definitely need to learn everything, as I have been online twice and got my butt kicked because I hadnt learned all the controls yet. Nevertheless, a very fun game and a nice change froom the typical B-Ball and Football.
