Decision on the Bucs (Pending)

If it is anything like the leagues I have been in, I won't be waiting long. I would have even given that one guy the Bucs and taken the Chargers instead but it's cool. I will take what falls to me.

 

My vote is for Bruce Vee. Oh I'm Bruce Vee.

Even if I don't get the Bucs. I'll wait around for other team too! Keep me posted thanks.

 

I had just gotten word that a 2nd team had become available just recently but has already been filled. I find this hard to believe considering I was next in line to join. So if this is in error then I apologise but if I am right then wtf.

 

The wait list is not first come first served. Bruce Vee was asked to take over the Titans.

 

your original list was numbered, I think that is where the confusion lies.

 

You have a point Mike, but we look at the people on the list for alternates and put it to a vote. Both candidates have ties to members here. It's nothing personal...I'm sure another team will come available. In these situations it stinks because somebody always winds up getting left out.

 

I took the numbers out of the thread. I should have been more clear.

The way we do it at LG is evaluate each person on the alternate list and make a decision based on a number of factors. Participation in the forums, exhibition games played, reccomendations by current members and personal contact with the commish of each league are all considered.

This procedure is what makes our leagues great. If a person really wants in a league the best way to accomplish this is to make sure they participate here and get to know alot of the current members.

 

thank you both, I think you both make excellent points and I completely understand. I was just trying to indicate where I thought the confusion may lie.

 

Wow. I didnt think it would be that serious for a spot in this league. That must mean this league is the sh*t, I really want in now. Hopefully i will be able to participate sometime soon in one of these leagues.
