1B Hee Seop Choi to the Marlins for 1B Derrek Lee This is kinda old news, but I never posted it. Here is the link: Click
Hey, the Cubs need a 1st Baseman, especially since Karros most likely wont be back. Lee is a pretty good 1B, I'm sure though when he checks in with the Cubs he will be wearing his World Series ring, lol.
damn Dodgers are getting nothin this off-season. They were gonna try and get Richie Sexson, but he is most likely going to Arizona. Then I hope Sheffield doesn't go to New York.
just watch and see how many big names the yanks will pick up this off season they are going to get alot of new guy i bet since they couldent buy there Championship the last 2 yaers
lol thats why my dad and I loved it when we saw that Florida beat Yankees, it makes us proud to see yankees go down .
Yea, you loved him with Atlanta, but I don't blame ya for being happy he is in the AL. Now he wont pester the Cubs or the Braves. Whats the deal with Maddox, is he gonna be with Atlanta next season?
5 years ago I might have actually cared if Maddox stayed. I now wish he would just go and maybe we could get a new prospect out of him.
Yea, he isn't what he used to be in his prime with the Cubs/Braves. They should trade him while they can still get a little something for him.
It's kind of sad im saying this but I would rather have the Braves win than keep him around just because he has been a brave for so long.
Hey, its a sacrafice every team has to face sooner or later. I remember goin through that with Mark Grace and the Cubs, he just wan't good nemore so they let him go, didn't like to see him go but it happens.
I would never had forgiven Angelos and the Baltimore management if Cal Ripken Jr had been traded away. I liked the move to third, just to keep him on the roster. Then Cal left on his own terms. Thats the way it should be. I just think veteran players dont get the respect they deserve sometimes. In the NL its a little tougher, cause you can't just DH them. If they are in the lineup they need to play and that makes it tough. Yes, I'll agree it was Rip's time to go. But man, he was an icon in baseball history. Tough to see something like him leave the game. I now am a season ticket holder to Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen and get to see good ole Rip all the time. It's nice to see upcoming prospects to Baltimore as well under Ripkens wing.
Not the YANKEES. I am going to every blue jays game next year so they can afford big name guys like A-Rod, Kevin Brown
