Neon plays on the Monsters who are currently 2nd in the West. Leads the league in GAA but only playing VS 50% of teams currently in a playoff spot. Not sure if he is the backup or starter but will need to play vs better teams if he wants a shot at the Bastien Award.
@Viva La Rangers GP: 25 W: 13 L: 5 OTL: 7 TOI: 1595:24 GA: 66 SA: 322 SV% 79.5 GAA: 2.48 SO:1

Viva plays on the Phantoms who are currently 4th in the East. Viva was traded from the Americans to the Phantoms after week 4 (Merks are 12th in the East) so that makes his stats look even better. Viva played VS 16 teams holding a playoff spot and 9 who are not.

Rockystar plays on the Crunch who are currently 3rd in the East. Rocky started the season on a tare but has slowed down since. Still holding excellent numbers while playing VS 15 playoff teams and 12 who are not.

@King Ellis101 GP: 28 W: 17 L: 10 OTL: 1 TOI: 1764:27 GA: 76 SA: 390 SV%: 80.5 GAA: 2.58 SO: 3

King Ellis plays on the Comets who are in 7th place in the East. Ellis was trade to the Comets after week 3 from the Roadrunners and leads all starting goalies with 80.5 SV% and 3 SO. Ellis played VS 14 playoff teams and 14 who are not. Just like Neon, Ellis will need to play VS better teams while bringing his GAA down.



Not far behind but a strong finish could put these goalies in the mix

Reasons why Scopes isn't on my list: SV% is lower and GAA is higher then the top goalies. His 3 SO are great but not enough.

Are you fucking kidding me? O SO, 74 SV% with 3 GAA on the 1st place team in the East.

@B4NKS GP: 25 W: 17 L: 6 OTL: 2 TOI: 1512:05 GA: 68 SA: 323 SV% 78.9 GAA: 2.70 SO: 3

Respectable SV% but still low. GAA is too high compared to his competitors and should be under 2 being on the top team in the East. His 3 SO are nice though.


Seen these 3 names pop up from the response so I checked them out and if @B4NKS lowers his GAA while playing VS playoff teams, he might get considered. For both Bears goalies being on the top team in the East, their numbers should be a lot better then what they are.

 

I'm not sure who is on the awards committee this season but its voted through a committee.

 

@Viva La Rangers if you don't win this award I will be thoroughly disappointed....

 

One could very easily argue that nobody on this list full out deserves this award. I won't, but damn if Ellis made the list there's a problem.

Lol scopes has more games played than all these goalies on your list. He's a work horse. Plus I believe he shares the lead for shut outs. Play these other guys 6 games a week every week and let's see where their stats would be.
