Thought I would re-post @xxThe GreaT 48 's post to a forum where more people will see it. Would really like for it to happen if we get a good amount of talent. I just want to gauge the interest in CanAM before managers in charge of both sides put in the effort of putting together their teams. Please just select American or Canadian in the Poll so I can see where we are at numbers wise. Below is Briere's post. Welcome to CanAm 2016 for the Xbox One. For those wondering, yes this WILL happen hopefully within the next month or so since as of now, we're waiting for the next patch to see if captain lag will be addressed (not a huge issue if it isn't) and of course waiting for this Pro-Series season to end. This tournament is for the best players on both sides to battle it out to really see what country is better and all are welcome to tryout. Doesn't matter if you're a veteran or just the new guy, you'll need to earn your spot on the roster. Likely GM's for both sides at least at this point; Canada Fio Tendy Myself Odiee? USA Trobby Stamtoast? At least when this was first brought up, there was a lack of interest on the USA side, Canada had at least 7 willing to help out but, just not going to list everybody...so if you want to help USA, here's your chance. Of course more info will be posted once it's available but this is just the start of this years CanAm at least on the Xbox Side. Also congrats to @BigJayAyotte and the Wings on winning the cup.
Yes, now is my chance to make it in a watered down CANAM! Sign me up coach, I've been preparing for this moment all my life.
@Dumba x 55 Don't quote me, but the season is probably going to start right after the Pro Series playoffs so probably in 2 / 3 weeks
Not only is my make a wish for Savard to get tombstoned to hell by The Undertaker but it's also my dream to coach team USA. Would love to see the fat slobs do suicides over and over till they yuke so we take home the gold.
I've seen and been in a few of these Can/Ams, and the problem that always persists hasn't changed. There is no good American management. If you can't get the right management group for USA, don't even run it.
