Anyone planning on going to a midnight launch tonight? I didn't bother pre-ordering and from my experince there is always enough copies to go around so i might head out at like 11:50 at my local futureshop. I know there is massive hype for this game, but it really hasn't caught me up yet
nope. but i am going to the GameStop/Activision launch party tonight in NYC. CC Sabathia, Jerry Hairston, Redman, Method Man, Major Nelson, IW's fourzerotwo and others are supposed to be there. then the girlfriend is scoring me a freebie copy tomorrow and i'm taking off Thursday or Friday.
These big realeases make me want the game no matter how much im not interested. Same thing happened with halo 3. I will resist this year.
Ha, my gf was out last night so i asked her to go stand in line and grab me a copy and she did. Have it here at my desk, but not really feeling any urge to put it in yet. Borderlands still owns me.
I'm grabbing mine on the way home from work today. I could have gotten it last night at midnight, but didn't bother with it. Just get it today.
single player is fun as hell 3 missions in....multiplayer is very deep and I think same level as cod4.
It may be the same in a lot of ways but its still a great game. And for someone like me who thought the singleplayer story was awesome, that was more than enough of a reason for me to get the game. But im confused to see a guy that played Halo 3 ODST and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 bash a game like MW2 for being similar to its previous showing.
haha good call on that. Single player was short but it was great. All 3 modes on this game are solid and well done. With changes to every aspect of multiplayer. Multiplayer is a harder this year but the depth of it is very nice.
