Is there any way for player to see who bids on them with the new LGv5 site, either during bidding or preferably after bidding? This has been brought up and discussed in the past and i know a lot of people (players/management) have always wanted it or are curious about it. I think it would be a cool new feature for bidding to have during bidding if we could see who is bidding on us each bid or after bidding is complete (preferably after to lesses drama as others have said) * I know people can post their bidder boards, but everyone does not always do it and others only post parts of it. @Tris10 @MCDONALD l19l
Kind of defeats the whole point of bidding if you know preciously who is actually bidding on who. By not posting this in the management forum people will be making fun of this post.
players shouldn't know who is bidding on them during bidding. it could be poisonous, and could ultimately ruin other team's bidding strategies. im all for players seeing who bid on them after bidding is over.
Yeah it could be very toxic and cause a lot of drama, thats why i put an "after bidding option" I voted after bidding, i remember my first season in bidding i had a few bids and was really curious who had bid on me and like i said it seems like everyone is always curious who bid on them and not everyone posts their bidding boards
Then what happens when a player noticed he is going to a team he doesn't want to. Some will contact owners and try to get them to outbid current bid. Others will even go further and contact current high bid and try to talk that owner out of bidding in whatever way. (Verbal threat to ask for trade, Verbal threat to have shitty schedule on purpose, play like shit, cause friction on team on ourpise, etc.) To be honest I think players have to much power as it is. It's one thing to make sure players are being treated fairly then letting them dictate the league completely. I've always been in favor of ownership having more power but if they have losing seasons they lose their job.
basically what mitts said is why this wont happen. Tris and I have a ton of things to work on before the season begins so this won't even be considered til next season. But as of right now, no this isn't going to happen

Also like everyone said it would be better after and from the poll it looks like a lot of people would like to see, could be a cool thing to add next season when bidding ends bc every season after bidding everyone is always curious as to who bid on them.
