That's why you don't take AHL and play in the NHL. The AHL is what's used if someone in the NHL quits or gets banned, like why happened that season. I do everything I can to not touch the AHL roster like all good owners do but you have to it's annoying when the AHL cries about it when that is what their purpose is. I also will never understand why AHL guys wouldn't want a shot in the NHL, isn't that the point of being in the NHL?
Not so much more important, just that is the purpose of a lower league and farm team. Both managers bust heir asses building their teams and playing all season. It sucks when it has to happen but the NHL is the highest level and it is something LG and the community needs to get back to in order to make our community more competitive again and the best it can be. Hell of an AHL team is better than the NHL team that whole team should be able to move up at a converted salaries
Don't bid on toxic players . . . Pretty simple. The AHL is just as toxic, I see it in the chat box every day and the bans and suspensions and trade block being taken down all the time
But in all fairness lots of the guys in the A are just trolls and nobody ever REALLY refuses to play for anyone. How many GOOD AHL managers have turned owners in the last 3 seasons only to get shit on at every possible turn by their players as well as others in the league? 8? 10? 15? That could be half the league worth of owners lol never mind the countless others who just don't want to put up with the same thing they see happen to their peers season after season. I'm not saying it's your fault or anything dumb like that I'm just telling you why guys don't want to go to the show. And is also the reason there's owners like brandonbramati or kyrss or pier talent. No offense to those guys but they're borderline good AHL gms why hell are they owners? Because nobody else wants to get shit on or try to coddle good players to play for them again only to get shit on. Anyways that's my piece good luck finding a gm Lou! Agree but you guys gotta take the leap and again not if on those guys just like you don't get those guys in the AHL. They're trolls that's how a lot of the NHL guys are too. There's literally like 5 divas and all you have to do is avoid them and the other guys are fine as long as you get guys they want to play with just like in the AHL and just like in leagues. Everyone views the NHL as toxic or full of prima donnas but it's the same as every other league. There's good players nice guys bad guys assholes trolls guys who suck, guys who rage. It's all the same everywhere. You just gotta find the right group of guys and know who to take risks on and who to stay away from. I think the big issue is when people make the jump they get stuck on bad teams or they go after guys they shouldn't go after or are just unsuccessful and can't make the jump bc they get bad match ups or just with a line they don't play well with.
