Hi, no name rookie bum amlove here, fresh off getting backpacked to a mountainous 3 wins by the 5 Sherpa's on my line last night. Being a 1st round draft pick in the most recent draft and having nothing to do till next week, (when I stop shoveling fistfuls of peanut butter down my throat, get out of bed and can play LG again) I figured I'd break down the list of mistakes teams made in the draft ahead of me to make me feel better about the never ending marathon of mistakes I run each day. So grab your peanut butter jars and pull up a bed to lay down on. This is my 1st round draft review. 1st pick - xRivsy - NYR. They traded him already. He's so bad the griffins didnt even want to keep his ahl rights. Bust 2nd pick - Fl Pick a dman before me? Oh wait, he's a rw, just plays a PMD. idgaf, they traded HIM already, too. I don't care about almost 2 PPG and the fact he wasnt a - on a struggling team. Bust 3rd pick- Revvy - Bos So bad in week 1 the bruins traded all world bouughs just to be get a team to take his awful 750k contract off their hands. 7-10-2? Losing almost twice as much as he wins. Bust 4th pick- Xkinger - PHI 15 games. Over 2 PPG but 12 of those points came in two games last week. That sounds like 13 games of being a bust to me. Plus he got traded. Bust 5th pick twitch kickrocks - WSH. DOing great in the A. See here's a super smart rookie with vet savvy. he knows WSH only plays better if he's not breathing down the skittish veterans necks. So he gives up a spot, dominates in the A and lets guys cook in the NHL. Can't do much better than that. Bust 6th pick - FL Dman on a struggling fl team but he's put up wins. Only scores in half his games, had his Ahl rights traded and even lost more than he won in the C this season. What kind of sack of crap 1st round dman has that on their resume? (looks at own stats this season) Bust 7th pick -Hxisk - PIT 2 PPG but Traded after week 1 with PIT. Traded again to Bos a few weeks later. No games since 6/26 Bust 8th pick VEZ - WSH 6 losses and an OT loss. That's almost a full weeks worth of points down the drain. Bust 9th pick Gyrox - FL Not one single win in the N. Bust 10th pick EMM - CBJ Better record in the A this season than me. Fantastic positionally and moves the puck well under any pressure. A true standout of the class. Bust 11th pick Wentbxckdoor - NJ Accidentally x'd off his tab before looking at his stats. Bust 12th pick temp-211937- PIT Aspect ratio on profile pic seems too wide. Bust 13th pick GxbeSnipes- CAR 1.2 points per game. (roughly) As many combined losses as wins. Bust 14th pick amlove - TOR Revolutionized defense. Consummate team player and professional. Purposely only scores every other game to keep teams guessins what he's going to do offensively. Don't believe me, look at what his teammates have to say about him. "I can't play with this guy on my line." - Anonymous teammate 1 "Wtf was he doing out there? Guy can't make a pass into the ocean if you put him on the beach." -AT 2 "I swear he was alright in scouting games. Or maybe just a scouting game. Whatever.
