No i believe that this tourney should be the best of the AHL or CHL, meaning if there is a worhy CHL player, such as Sid, Then he should be allowed to tryout. I was allowed to try out for the NHL CanAm so i think its only right that we allow the better CHL players a chance to make the team. I kind of disagree with the "this is for people who get less exposure", i think it should be a best of the best just like the NHL. I myself have had lots of exposure and dont think that should count against people.

My point about the tournament being about exposure is that people like Kmc, who want to play even though they're in the NHL, shouldn't be allowed to play because he's already an NHLer. This is a best on best between two teams of players who aren't full time NHLers yet. And no matter what you say, there's no such thing as too much exposure if you haven't made the NHL yet.

And also, as much as i hate to say it. Guys like Kmac should also be a tryout as he is actively participating in S3 of the AHL. And if you allow CHL players to tryout then the AHL games thing goes to hell. I think as long as you played multiple games in the AHL S3 you should be allowed a tryout.
