While it is alot, I'm sure it was one of the first games for MGM with KC. Playing 7min quarters and probably one of the first times playing with a team will produce those results. Plus, KC doesn't have the best defense and Fred Taylor is crazy on this game :?

One more thing, WindlessMoney is very good at this game too :? Check out his online record and exhibition records.

He ain't that good, in my 2nd game with the Niners, I clipped his wings with a game winning field goal. Was a good game, and kind of lucky plays by both.

But Fred Taylor isn't that hard to stop...Jimmy Smith was crazy good in that game.

That says nothing though :? I beat you, but lost to Windless. So I'm just saying overall he's good at the game. Not everyone's perfect though.

But nice job on being subtle about a win

I was wondering the same thing. Geez, almost 500 yards rushing. I had to look twice to make sure it was in fact a game using Madden.

windless is a great player, he put 45 up on me yesterday.

MGM probably hadn't practiced much with KC yet though.

We recruited the best for Links too and it probably all made us better. Hopefully having really good players in the Madden league will do the same (or at least force us to practice offline, which it did for me yesterday).

I was hoping for the site to crash before he could enter that score

I had been practicing with the Broncos. I have played as the Chiefs a couple of times but I had no idea what a buzz saw I was running into. Juji said that K.C's defense isn't that good. I AGREE with that. they are rated 72 or lower on Defense. I'm going to have to win in slugfest's and put my number 1 offense to work.

And Socal, no offense, but I would bet my house that you couldn't take Windless in a best of 3 series. He is that good.

And BTW, thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention Nosice...I will be monitoring you from here on out. God help you when you get blown out in the future  :p

I second that statement. I've played him twice in Madden now. Lost 45-35 and 34-31. Both games he put up huge offensive numbers, even against a pretty good TB defense.

I did beat him in NCAA though, but I think he was distracted

You wanna bet? Once I get all my presents and everything bought and wrapped for my mom and give them to her tomorrow, I will prove that statement.

I mean no offense, but he isn't that good. He was just throwing 3 yard screens and ins and outs, mostly to his tight end. Running was easy to stop, despite Freddie being a beast in this game. He had 11 rushing yards to my 34, so neither of us rushed much. Thing is, he couldn't play defense when it mattered most. Those last 29 seconds after he hit the Game Tying Field Goal, I was doing whatever I wanted with his defense, to any of my receivers.

But hey, if I decide not to play him, I still have the best record against him here at this site: 1-0 :!: And none of you guys can say that you are undefeated against him. Well apart from Equifax, but he is really good too, I meant people who were here before his stay :D.

Lol I lost to King Kobra, and I admitted it straight up. I didn't just lose, I got dominated.

As for me winning, when you can run any play you want on the final drive of the game and win with 28 seconds remaining, you would be too, trust me. I was running screens, one 30 yard bomb, posts in and out, 15 and in, and my final play was a WR screen to Lloyd that went for 29 yards, which is way more than a WR Screen should get you. But as I said, if you can do whatever you want in 28 seconds to drive 80 yards (kick out of the end zone), and score a td with :08 left, talk as much trash as you like in my books.

And plus, it wasn't like windless wasn't talking smack DURING THE GAME lol. When he tied it up with the FG, he comes back on the mic and says I know you be liking that lol.

Is that directed towards me? If so, you are on for a match, just let me know if it is tonight or when, and I will play you.

BTW, don't bet it is bad. And don't be so sure of something like that, look at Ray Buchanan a few years ago in the Superbowl against Denver. His Falcons got their arses kicked. But then again, doing that can be good as in Joe Namath's case lol.

windless money told me he actually fell asleep during his game with you... it was like 4 or 5 in the morning.

Try playing him earlier in the evening when he's fresh. :)

Pfft, try 3:11 AM EST. And he was fresh, he was talking shit the whole game, and never fell asleep, so sounds like an excuse to me. He also went on to play another game or 2 that night as I saw him playing 2 different opponents within the next hour and a half, so he is just whining because he lost :D

Plus, he came to me asking to play, so I said sure, so if he wants to make excuses...it is his own fault for playing that late.

Ah, nothing like a little smack talk in the pre-season.

Put your money where your mouth is socal and give him a rematch. If you win and beat him again, you can really talk some smack then.
