Fyi-friday night at 2am central I will be changing league pace to fast. Its only 14 games and they're all open to play. This shouldn't affect anyone.
Haha, I'd trade you Nash & a 1st for Jennings. Despite trailing by as much as ten points in the 3rd quarter, the Lakers storm back with a big run in the 4th quarter to give the 6-1 Spurs their second loss, and promoting the Lakers record to 7-1.
Tempting and decent. Jennings brings too much defensively fir me to move. I might get him back offseason ways
Lakers lose Game 1 to OKC by alot, Win game 2 by 3, Lose Game 3 by alot, Win Game 4 by 4, Win game five by 20.. They then returned to Oklahoma City for game six. On a game that was tied at half, Oklahoma City bursted out and outscored the Lakers 35-12 in the 3rd quarter, and rolled from there, as the Lakers were plagued by turnovers and cold shooting. Game 7 was very close all game, however the tides turned when all the starters came off the bench...Shooting Guard Jodie Meeks erupted for three straight threes, helping keep the Thunder at bay while the Lakers starters rested. The Lakers topped the Thunder by 9 points, however the game was much closer than that, 100-91. The Lakers recieved a strong offensive performance from many players. Kobe, Meeks, World Peace, and Howard all eclipsed the 20 point mark, while Steve Nash also provided 10. The Lakers will now await the winner of the series between the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets.
In a series with the heat that was incredibly close, we were almost on our way to a game seven... Metta World Peace deposited 25 points, however he wasn't the star of the show. Tied 99-99 with the clock running down, Steve Nash turned the ball over with just 23 seconds left. Dwayne Wade stormed down the court, however he PASSED UP AN OPEN SHOT FROM THE PAINT WITH 18 Seconds left....maybe he was waiting to kill more time, considering the game was already tied. Anyhow, he didn't get that chance. Just moments later, Chris Bosh was called for a Offensive three seconds violation. Lakers received the ball back with 9.8 seconds to go in the game. Rushing up the court, Nash fed it to Bryant. Figuring Kobe has been the Regular Season MVP, Scoring Champ, and on his way to the Playoffs MVP, the ball was in his hand, and he drew a double team. Unlike his usual self, he passe up the shot, and fed a wide open Steve Nash, who hit a buzzer beater three pointer for the NBA Championship. Lakers Win! Kobe MVP. Pau Gasol is on the block.
