Wait who did wonger carry? He got shut down in game 2 and 7 against ninja and I. He couldn't beat a chl goalie in game 7 so decided to bring up an unclear rule to attempt to get the game overturned. If it actually gets overturned I'll be surprised. Obviously we are the better team and deserve to move on.

For anyone who's trying to figure out whats going on, here's the story. The Charlotte Checkers started the playoffs with @Suck It D0nny on IR for two weeks so i was called up to replace him during his time off...I've played week one of the playoffs which was D0nny's first week of IR. I then went on to replace him on his second week of IR in week two of the playoffs. But for some reason Ontario Reign had claimed that i was ineligible to play the week since I played week one. This claim was done after my third game in the series and our win in game 7. If you read the rules below nothin states that i can only play one week of a two week IR'ed player and i quote "Players whom are used as the replacement call up, are only eligible to do so once per season/ once per playoffs." So say what you have to say but in my opinion the rule is to vague to overturn our games but changes in next season can be made so this doesn't happen again.



3.4.3 : Requesting to be Placed On the Injury Reserve (IR)

Any IR request MUST be sent to the Team's management, via PM or Xbox live message, or any other forum of written communication.

Once a team's manager(s) reviews the official request, the team can opt to use a temporary call up, OR back fill the player's spot with ECUs.

If the team decides to place the player on IR, the request can be made via the Action Center, OR via PM as long as the proof of the player's request is provided to staff.

Players can only request IR for a maximum of two weeks per season.

3.4.4 : Temporary Call Up Restrictions

Managers are unable to file fore removal of a player whom does not show up for games while away on IR.

IR players can not be replaced by a waiver claim.

Temporary call ups are waiver exempt upon their completion of duty as a temp call up.

Once a Player requests IR, that Player will remain ineligible to play until the scheduled week of the season or playoff is completed.

Players whom are used as the replacement call up, are only eligible to do so once per season/ once per playoffs.

Ah, they wanted to see if they were good enough to beat you first and then after they realized that they weren't good enough they filed the complaint. Sounds like something I'd do.

 

To add on to this, the Charlotte management crew had issued Donny 3 strikes assuming he would be removed from the league since that is what the rule book states, that if a player is given 3 strikes for no showing to games he will be removed. However, Donny was not removed, instead he was moved to IR meaning we were given 3 options as a replacement due to the prospect playoff restrictions since we only had 3 Amateur goalies. 2 goalies out of the 3 eligible to be called up were inactive on Xbox Live and LG and we knew they would not be able to play in the playoffs because we could not trust them to show. That left us with only ONE option to play as a goalie for us in the playoffs and obviously as Stevens proved he was a damn good option. Regardless of if Donny was removed (like we wanted) or placed on IR we were going to call Stevens up full time. We wanted to give Stevens the shot and according to the rules he was an amateur so he was eligible to be called up "once per season/playoffs". The rules never clarified the time duration that is allowed for an IR call up by saying "One WEEK of the regular season/playoffs", it just stated ONCE. He was called up ONCE in fact in order to serve as our goalie until Donny's IR request expired however this ONE time was for a duration of 2 weeks. After this series we knew Donny's IR stint would be over and he would have to be banned so we would call up Stevens regardless. If there is any ruling on this EVER it should be next season after the rule book is modified to be more clear, especially since this is the make or break for a round 3 of the playoffs. Thanks

If you replay the game is ineligible for it would be the 3 he played , which is why the people brought it to me.. if it was 1 game i could care less , that stuff happened all last playoffs and what not. but 3 games would be a lot in my eyes to replay. I wasnt the one holding the info , i was told before the game lobby was up and brodie told us to play it out and file the complaint later.

last season we did everything they said by the book so it is what it is.. whatever the outcome im just here so i dont get fined

 

The only sensible move is to start the playoffs over again.
