I don't remember saying that I was mad at you for it. I remember saying that it was a stupid ass rule. I know that we didn't complain when Springfield did it. We just played the game and let it go. We used a TC prospect G on D. If that caused you to lose the game, then so be it.

We expected your 1st, we wanted to play your 1st line. When you saw ours you guys pulled Craig and got an ECU goalie for yourself(maybe you couldn't play, who knows) it seemed like a scumbag move but at the same time it was smart not to put your 1st against us just incase you lost, but it back fired.

If you think I have the time to track down or notice if the same ECU is used and is lighting it up you are delusional my friend. If that is brought to my attention I'd look into it but if nothing was found, then there is literally no expectation of me being able to do anything about it.

I wasn't ever upset about Texas. They cheated, it was pathetic and they got caught. Therefore I think its a win in my books so what is there to be upset about? I think you are misinterpreting my commitment here. I put a solid 6-8 hours a day into this five or six days a week. I love doing it, its fun to me. But if you think I'm upset or losing sleep or some of the bullshit that occurs here, you are dead wrong. I'd be 300 pounds, with no hair and unable to sleep if I cared that much. I am only here to learn from our past and hope with changes I can prevent it from occurring again, while keeping us on the right track. I feel as if I've been able to accomplish that regardless of how upset my "stupid" rule has made you.

Tris would have to undo programming to make this happen and personally it only benefits the good AHL team. The unsuccessful AHL teams then would rape the CHL affiliate making the CHL even less desirable. I like our system we have now it just needs to be adjusted.

I've already explained to you how this works. You are given the TC numbers to prevent forfeits which in most cases isn't an issue for the playoff bound teams. Come playoff time, when there is literally only 7 games that decide the fate of a team you'd be blind if you didn't see how one second account could completely influence a series.

There is more on the line in the playoffs and the ECU can have a larger impact during the playoffs hence why the restrictions are in

yes, Connor and justified are complete fucking scumbags but this doesn't stop the issue at all, with or without this rule if a guy is going to give up his game for a second tag to play in it, he's just as likely to let him borrow his account for 30 minutes then change his password after the guys game is over. All this rule has accomplished so far is making P's 100% useless, and basically telling teams that they're TC may look full but it's absolutely empty if you're looking for someone you can actually use come playoffs.

Once again this is another example of you not listening or reading what I posted earlier. I'll try this one more time. In the past three seasons in the AHL i've busted 10 plus season tags. Out of those issues ONLY ONE was for recovery. Conner admitted Odie played on his tag. I got Shocker, K-slice and the boys with three second tags, that were prospects won in the draft due to late sign ups. I got MLGesus and Scrivens last season on Prospect accounts. I got Hopkins on Snipe and Cell the season before that on a prospect account. ScottGomez on Texas was a prospect account used in this same way. The issue you are talking about I have a solution for as well BUT is not yet in the works and to be honest hasn't be proven yet to be the major issue. Prospects are not completely useless on the training camp. They serve their purpose of allow teams prevent forfeits and get through the season. In your case it sucks because a veteran player was contacted first and apparently refused to play. Therefore leading to some desperate measures. Come playoff time the # of ECUs required so diminished due to the competitive nature of the games and the limited number of games played.

Everything I've stated above is why the rule is in place and nothing you've mentioned has discredited that the rule will fix the issues I've presented.

Each team has basically no veterans on their TC, and veterans all know that once they're eliminated playing as an ECU doesn't matter at all because everyone already knows how you play (hence why they're only in the AHL by being ECUd) and they don't care to do it, while prospects WANT to play whenever they can to not be stuck in "what the hell is defence" land. The ONLY thing this accomplishes is taking everyone's most active ECUs over the course of the season, and you making them as useful as @Cronksy is to Parrsy's line.

You have 12 players eligible for ECU in your TC right now! Two of them are drafted played... One is a CHL GM therefore if proper planning is put into place this wouldn't be an issue. Here is where experience would come into play. Going into the playoffs you set your 17 man roster. I'd take it a further step and contact 4-5 TC guys who are my best of best and say listen, I need you to be activity during my playoff run so if I need a guy, you can fill in. If they play one game and you win the championship they get the trophy too. This is a basic concept I taught all the CHL GMs and the one who have won championships used it to their advantage all the time. This could have been prevented WELL before the playoffs began

It's a stupid rule and should be removed, and while you're removing that from the rule book go ahead and throw the Waiver wire rule back in.

And no, a smaller TC wouldn't help unless you get all the active players that are always on every night. You don't magically know someone isn't going to show up unless they tell you. A smaller TC would actually probably reduce the chances of finding someone and cause more forfeits (much like this rule will in the long run.)

Nothing is saying you can't schedule an ECU every game to be on call to help prevent the unpredictable issues. It just takes planning..

You can't honestly tell me you think it's a good idea to fuck over the many because 4 people are scumbags, just fucking get over it, give them life-time bans for being fat ass nerds living for internet hockey and move on. These are the same type of guys (obviously not actually these guys considering how much they need the virtual cup they probably wouldn't know how to hold a hockey stick or lace up skates) that fucking body-check during beer-league puck and chirp like they're in the fucking Stanley cup finals, they don't deserve the right to even wake up in the morning and we don't benefit from having them anyways. Fuck if we're going to give out 2 season bans for anyone found cheating anyways, I'm gonna go ask some top players if they wanna win a cup on my account next season, don't worry I'll give you some ideas on how you can stop it with a ridiculous rule or two when I come back from my ban

This where your emotions get the best of you. I didn't fuck anyone over. Rules are put into place to prevent bad things from happening. In my eyes, and many can agree, if a prospect player ECU'd in a game and was a second tag that change the result of a series, that is worse than AHL managers breaking a rule resulting in a forfeit loss.

Why else are rules put into place? To prevent undesirable outcomes occurring. That is common sense, and what may appear to you as being dumb or stupid ensures that a worse situation(2nd tag playing) doesn't happen. The stupidest part of that rule is the fact that it was ignored... You managers message me and got upset that the rule being enforced wasn't in the playoff rules. It has been for two seasons now... Clearly they didn't read the rules. Or perhaps they read it and just forgot it was there. It was a honest mistake by your team using a prospect, but unfortunately that doesn't change the outcome of the situation. Either way I am not trying to throw your GM and AGM under the bus but someone made the decision to use an ineligible player and it surely wasn't me.

In Ontario, driving bare foot is illegal.. Dumb law, but carries a fine. So when the police pull you over and see you aren't wearing shoes, and issue you a fine what is your argument going to be? "I didn't know?" "This is stupid?" It won't change what occurred but at the end of the day they have a job to do and you broke one of their rules.

This situation is the same concept. Staff has a job to do. It is to ensure that when a complaint is filed, the rule is enforced. We didn't tell you to use a prospect, we didn't make you use a prospect and we surely didn't file the complaint on you. We are just tasked with dealing with the issue at hand. It is human nature to blame other especially those who are the authority in the situation for mistakes we make. At the end of the day, whether you like the rule or not, your Managers made a decision that wasn't correct. The result of that decision is a forfeit loss. It sucks that their first mistakes carries an intense penalty but that too happens in life as well, where some things you do whether it was your first time or not carry a stiff penalty. I've even spoken with @brisan66, told him what happened, and even his response was it sucks but the rules are rules and they need to be followed.

I get you are upset, who wouldn't be, but you blame is directed in the wrong direction and is extremely negative which isn't required.

I have nothing more to explain. If you want to threaten me with cheating in future seasons so be it. Just shows immaturity due to a situation out of my control not going your way.

I honestly got stuck at work. I wanted to play that game so bad. It just disnt work out. I hope that I get to play your line in Game 6. It should be fun. I enjoy playing against good players. I haven't got to do that yet in this series

CHL was more tolerable. Shit AHL teams rape CHL Rosters bc Owners cant pick good ahl management for some reason. i loved it when CHL teams had NHL affiliation. Been saying this for 3 seasons now that it needs to go back to this.

I'm trying to remember game 3, did we win that game? Did my 2nd line beat what could be the best line in the ahl? Even with that game not being overturned, the series would've been 2-2. You guys got lucky in game 1 like I got lucky in game 3. This series would've ended in 6 because I don't see your 2nd and 3rd line beat ours. I enjoyed those games, it was intense. Good luck in the rest of the series. Remember it's just a game, so let's have fun playing some virtual hockey.
