At this point, I believe we are around 15 players which is a good number to get things started. Below I'm going to post the proposed rules and ideas for this. I want to keep this as simple as possible and not be much of a time restraint for those that want to do this on their free time that also are committed to other leagues in LG. What : The name for this I would like to be LGWE (League Gaming Wrestling Entertainment) When : I would like to run contender's matches during the week. Besides the start of the season to determine who plays for the LGWE Championship (King of the Ring style) every week we probably won't have too many matches. That number will be determined on how many titles we include and who is competing for what. I would like to be able to give everyone around two days to complete a match. This shouldn't be a huge issue, we all want to have fun with this game and matches at the very most only take 15 minutes. Sunday's will be PPV matches and I would like to have them all completed on a Sunday. As far as reporting winners, I really haven't thought of a way to prove who wins their match. The best practice would be just man up and take a loss when you lose. Streaming your games is always a plus as well. I'm trying to debate on how many titles we have. With our numbers short, I'm thinking of doing a LGWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship. I would also like to include the Tag Team Championship. With numbers low, I don't see allowing a player compete for the tag team and one single title. I believe going with JERZ mentioned in the previous thread about doing a king of the ring to determine a champion is the best choice. For the first PPV, I would like to do a LGWE Championship and a Tag Team Championship match. For the final subject, that everyone is voting for in this thread. Do we use real wrestlers, or do we use created? I'm much more of a fan of using real wrestlers, but I want this to be decided between all of us. I know some of you may think it's not fair if guys that pick first get better wrestlers, but with only a group of 15 guys, the 15th guy won't get a bad wrestler. Feel free to comment below on any of the topics I listed above and the voting will be to decide on which wrestlers we use. @honesrule @Skid Markie @Rammered @ItsZachHere @DiegoFuego19 @bruno caboclo @Kopitar xX @SoapySam12 @Milestone JERZ @At43 @EvilGenius l35l @wade200893 @Make Your Luck @TDK95 Rules : They're going to be very simple. No repetitive moves, make the match legit and don't cheat! There's no glitches I'm aware of either at this point.
I would think using created wrestlers is a better idea for the league 1. It's always a plus when your growth numbers are unlimited 2. It frees up the ability to use moves of your choice 3. The ability to freely express your own persona 4. You can also set a overall for everyone to set attributes on their own, say 75 to start and adding 5 points on overall after 10 wins just my 2 cents
I agree with this. The only thing is, I don't see the sign ups being too high for our first run at this. The other thing is I'm not sure how hard it is to monitor how people up their player's overall. I say if we do do created wrestlers, we really can't set a cap unless we make it that you have a cap on overall based on which title you're competing for.
I'm part of something like this already except it's done AI vs AI, you only limit the overall, they are free to put it on whatever stat they want as long as it's not over the overall cap. It makes wrestlers different while maintaining the fair value of the cap. They also allow wrestlers with 10 wins a higher cap ( like an achievement) which sets wrestlers in seperate tiers rookies 76 overall mid card 83 main event 88 it it also works for losses
I'll tell you now, I won't play in this if I can't use a created wrestler. There also shouldn't be a cap on attributes since it can't be policed anyway. You can't make 10 minute finishers in the game so I don't see a issue with created wrestlers. Besides even if we use real wrestlers, I could still edit them to being 100 overall. Please don't place limits on creativity.
I see where this is going and going to withdraw my interest thanks ... Real wrestlers are just to unfair
it should be created wrestlers just for the fact you can tell who's who and if u r a him for champion u have to use the same wrestler all the time and u may just have wanted to use 1 match just my opinion
Thats an awesome attitude as the vote is now 7-5. But, if you quit because things just don't look good in a vote, are you sure you want to commit to this?
GPO27 Shaun1126 Mr_t_r_andrews new confirmed members, please vote/leave a comment please. At this point, despite the voting, I'm leaning heavily on going with created wrestlers. These last couple opinions could be crucial.
I see no fun in using WWE characters ... Can't change move set ... Overalls and attributes are to far a variety that those who'd pick 15th would be at a large disadvantage
You do know you can create a wrestler outside of career mode, right? Everything is unlocked but you still add ring escape, top rope ability etc
Created wrestler or GTFO. Bad enough we have to watch the Real wrestlers on shitty raw episodes as it is..
I think we should just use the standard superstars, mainly because it's simple and it stops cheating. However, I'm up for it either way
Despite the vote, I have to agree with created wrestlers. Evil made some good points (as well as JERZ/GPO) so now we move to the next topic : Where do we cap off overalls? Here's my idea : Contending for a major title (LGWE or World Heavyweight) : 95 Contending for a tag title : 90 Contendint for a minor title (hardcore/intercontinental/US) : 85 Title Holders : +2 on overall pending on what title they hold
I'm just stoked your going with created wrestlers but prefer lower overalls so not every attribute is maxed out and it becomes more like a nhl build than just maxed stat but whatever you heard me out with custom created guys
This is a waste of time when it can't be policed. Let everyone be whatever overall they want and just let the pure button skill take over.
