I've played goalie since nhl 09. I've never asked another goalie for advice. I've watched streams of top tier goalies, and learned nothing. I am certain that there is minimal skill required to play goalie even at the highest tier. I felt I hit my skill ceiling literally years ago, and that the biggest thing holding me back is the game itself. It does not matter how much practice I do either online or offline, in 3's or 6's, vs or HUT. It does not matter how many streams or how much footage of elite goalies I watch and study. There is no consistency in the game. Goalie interference is inconsistent. Hug post in the butterfly is inconsistent. MS delay is inconsistent. Auto saves are inconsistent. The tools required to increase in skill simply do not exist or even worse do not work properly.

 

We should change this thread name from "Why ESHL will never grow" to "Why @HazeeHype will never grow".
