I voted for Houston. Cubs will eventually remember that they are the Cubs. hehe I'm pulling for the Cardinals of course, but I just don't think they'll have the starting pitching to put together a string of 6-7 wins in order to pull ahead. Houston is iffy, but I think will play more consistently down the stretch.
My vote is still Houston! They are going to pound the cardinals! Heck even Mark Prior wants them too! 8)
Cubs won their first game today, if they win their second today they clinch the division since Houston lost today!!!
if the cubs win it then congrats but im still routing for houston even though the cubs would be an easier opponent for the braves to humiliate
All the sports sites are wanting a Red Sox - Cubs World Series. They claim more people would watch it but i know i sure as heck wouldnt because those are not the 2 best teams in baseball. Add the fact they will get the Braves 1st round they are done for... Hopefully the Marlins can pull through and beat the Giants because Marlins vs Braves would be cool...mainly because I think the Braves have a better chance vs the Marlins than the Giants!
Of course it isn't a big deal to you, you are not a Cubs fan, I would say the same to you if St. Louis made the playoffs, even though they wont..

St. Louis doesn't have a riot if the Cards are in the post season, same with Atlanta and other cities that have been there numberous times in the last few decades. We get excited over championships, not qualifying for the postseason. It's lot like the Cubs will do anything now that they are there, and they barely made it in anyhow.
Well, first off there was no riot, second off they deserve to celebrate.....how often do they get to the post-season? As for "barely" making it, who cares, they made it...whether by 1 game or 7 they got in....winning is winning.....and I don't need them to get far in the playoffs, just them making it and beating the astros and cards is plenty to make me happy.
