The AL won't score past the 6th inning.

Look at the closers on the NL side.

    7th inning - Wagner
    8th inning - Gagne
    9th inning - Smoltz

NL side has the best player in baseball right now (Pujols) and better pitching. I think the NL will win in a landslide.

    Sure. Do you have PayPal?

Vegas lines are varied. Some have AL favored, others have NL favored. Over/Under line seems to be hovering around 10 runs.

10 runs? 10 runs scored in total they mean?

Either way, the American league is a shoe in, kinda like the same odds of me beating you in the finals :D

Yes, the over/under is 10 runs. Meaning a person could bet the total combined score to be over 10 or under 10 runs.

Usually, good pitching beats good hitting, and with the added importance of this year's game, I think that has driven down the Over/Under line (usually AllStar games are into the teens for runs scored).

Fun game to watch. NL had it in the bag but Baker managed it like the All Star games of old, allowing the stud starters only 2-3 AB's while the AL guys stayed in the game longer.

Furcal's error hurt, and Gagne was just awful tonight. I almost turned it off at 5-1, figuring it was pretty much over for the AL with Wagner/Gagne/Smoltz due to pitch, but the closers didn't come through at all.
