That's my original tag. It was chosen because I was always a big Spider-man fan and Venom was my favourite character (Eddie Brock as Venom, not the other ones that came after him). When I finally got online, I chose Venom + 2099 as my handle because at the time, I was heavily into Spider-Man 2099, but there was no Venom 2099 (he would come much later). When I joined Xbox Live in 2003, the name VeNOM2099 was taken, so I used the letter "o" instead of zero and it stuck. Why the lower case "e" while the other letters are capitalized? I just think it looks cool!

This is my handle for all things GOALIE. I originally wanted to use "Venom's Crease", but it sounded kinda dirty (LOL). Eventually I want to create content under this moniker to help out the Goalie Community in EA's NHL games.

After having a slight personality disorder after my baby, MadeOfTwoFaces was gone the boys of Cleveland demanded that I had to be Faces, there simply wasn't an option. Thus, I took my football/hockey jersey number, stuck it where the two was originally, now I have a lot of Faces.

Also I have a lot of second tags to tell people to kill themselves using so I don't get my main tag banned. I learned my lesson, don't chirp on your main tag. 6 strikes, you out.

My last name starts out Griss so Grizzle became a bit of a nickname/joke when I was in school.

Hopestrom.

It's my last name with a Swedish twist given to me when I was young playing hockey.

Played on a line with 3 Matt's and it got confusing. So someone ended up calling me Mattias Hopestrom and it just stuck.

Today, friends/ family still call me by that name and there are many ppl who actually think it's my real name.

For example, my wife's grandparents thought she was becoming a Hopestrom.
