Just figured I'd post this, since operation sports usually doesn't post stuff that has absolutely no validity. It seems insane they'd leave out 6v6, but the game is a month away and we've heard nothing about it, so its not out of the question.

Just when you thought EA Sports Dressing Room 14 couldn't get any better, Sean Ramjagsingh stepped up and personally removed any actual gameplay from the series. In DR15 no longer will your 45 minute searches be interrupted by tiresome games. Now you and your 4 close friends, and that one guy who takes 15 to even get in the DR in the first place, can search to your hearts content with no interruption.

Rumors from Gamescom 2014 are that in next years iteration (DR 16), you will be able to use the Dressing Room text chat even while your team searches for a game.

 

Could always go back to otp vs players worst case old school lg did that I believe. Plus Fifa and NBA will be amazing madden looks promising as well.

 

A mod on the ea forums about a week ago replied to a post saying that eashl was for sure in the game however we should get a definitive answer tomorrow during the gamescon event.

 

Whatever it takes to realize how bad their game is, I support.

 

If theres 1-2 players online like the article says , you wont even be able to play OTP either haha

 

Here’s some things to think about…
EA Canada were still trying to hire next-gen network engineers and net code writers way back in December – Not a good sign
EA has been known to drag-ass when it comes to changing existing systems (ie servers – locations, improvements, etc) and may be unwilling to upgrade or reconfigure to accommodate next-gen (especially to utilize xbox one “thousands” of servers – as claimed upon release). Let’s not forget the peering wars between ISP providers and content distributors. EA may be unwilling to fork over serious cash to enhance peering agreements.
If NHL 15 is 1-2 players, which would only shed light to VS, HUT, GM live (pending if Verizon still agreed to sponsor) – this would be a very cost effective release as there would be no expensive network systems, etc…everything would still remain P2P.
Also, having EASHL & OTP remain on 360 & PS3 would technically be an excuse for EA to tell consumers that they technically have not abandoned the feature but continued its support – just not for next gen. This could also be a 365 day stall-tactic as they continue to work with FIFA and enhance club features (which we all know has a much bigger budget). Come next year, EA can distribute its new found optimizations and enhancements to its lesser titles.

What the shit does this even mean?

Are you talking about how like Netflix streaming sucks for users of ISP_A? How does this apply to gaming? The amount of data being transferred between peers for gaming is literally a drop in the bucket compared to streaming video services.

 

According to http://www.ea.com/gamescom the only EA games they're showcasing at Gamescom are Fifa 15, Battlefield Hardline, Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Sims 4, so we won't get an answer.
