A new policy for our site, We have added a pretty strict user account system check that will look for any users who might not be who they say they are. This is to stop guys signing up with multiple accounts or signing up their friends. Any user who has been flagged for this, will need to be manually vetted and prove they have access to their Xbox GamerTag. To verify their account they must: Login to your account on Xbox live either on the web or the console In your motto, put somewhere "leaguegaming.com". On the LG Forums home (below the chat) there will be a button with instructions, click the button and it will check your Xbox Live motto. If we find the word "leaguegaming.com" in your motto, we will then move you to a regular user group! Make sure your Xbox live privacy settings for these fields are set to public! By default some are not. If they are not set to public, then we can't check these values. If the value returned is blank or empty, this is the problem. Also it might take up to 20 minutes for Xbox to update the feed they give us. This should help us stop bad future members from getting into the league all while keeping the integrity of those current in the league as well allow us to handle and flag a large amount of new users.
~Update~ This is all automatic now, User's are checked right when they register and they can vet themselves by adding "leaguegaming.com" to their accounts xbl motto.
lol. So if we arent flagged we dont have to put "leaguegaming.com" in our profile do we? Its a good idea by the higher ups its free advertising, but good luck making me put anything in my xbl profile.
Well said Kings, LG has better features than other leagues and will grow from that. Not from forcing people to put a website in their motto. People will do that themselves if they respect the league.
Correct, if you aren't flagged, don't worry. The reason we do this for those who are, is we need to know they have control of the gamertag they said they are.

Nope, only for new guys. And trust me, it will be very clear if you need to be vetted, a big alert comes up on the forums home if you do.
i think illiteracy has cause a bit of panic, you will need to put "leaguegaming.com" to confirm your registration then you can change it back to whatever you see fit. Its only designed to confirm you are who you are signing up as.
Hi there, I followed the instructions as to get verified. I still get a an error stating my motto is blank, when it has "leaguegaming.com" I've refreshed and tried saving my motto again, and I still get that error....help please.
For future reference , make sure your Privacy setting are set to public so the robot can actually check your motto.
