Underrated AHL Players

Hey everyone, thought I would put together a list of 10 players who don't get much mention. These players are great and contribute much to there teams success. This list is in no particular order.


Stockton Heat

After being traded from the Ice Caps after week 5, Jeff is currently 4-1 with Stockton. With the primary focus of Stockton's team being offensive, Jeff adds a stable defensive presence that will not be overlooked while the teams looks to push for the playoffs.

Milwaukee Admirals

Two big names might jump out at you when you look at the Admirals defensive core, those being DELOSH, and Dunks. While those two lock it down on the right side, Fred is locking it down on the left. After not losing in his last 8 games Fred will play a big part in helping his team try to win the Western Central division.

After having a rough start to the season, Lowlife has come alive not losing in his last 7 games. In those 7 games he has put up 26 points, Hartford now finds itself only 3 points out of first place in the conference.

This whole line deserves a shoutout, a very defensive line for Cleveland. You could put this line out against almost any lines in the AHL and they can pull out a win. Walsh, RBK, and squish combine for a combined 1.5m. You could call this there third line but with the success they have had over the past 2 seasons don't take them lightly. Kudos to @VVaGs82 for finding these 3 and never letting them go.


Rochester Americans

What a find by @Bake703, after several seasons off BLISDON has returned. He is having a spectacular season, being assigned one of the hardest tasks.. carrying Officer PSWAG. With only a 750k contract, this guy is the main reason why they are in a playoff spot.


San Antonio Rampage

When thinking of the Rampage most think of the elites, but Saiyan does a great job filling his role for this team. Playing primarily with Gabella, Saiyan has already cracked the 50 point mark after 6 weeks. Although in a bit of a rough patch you can expect Saiyan to pick this line back up, put them in the backpack and get ready for playoffs.


Syracuse Crunch

Although the crunch got off to a subpar start this season zerocrash has brought this team back to life. Having a .838 save % in NHL 17 is not an easy task, he has found a way to win all season despite how the team was around him. With the crunch back on track watch out for them, and Zerocrash in the weeks to come.


Texas Stars

Davey(THE BAG)Donuts, has carried myself along with the rest of the stars to where we are in the standings. Anyone who has played with The Bag knows he gives you a chance to win no matter who the opponent is. With only one downfall in his AHL career, being back in season 23 against a bottom Rockford Icehogs team. With the bag being back on track, you will find him holding his sons(@Meestah Don) hand as they look to playoffs.

Gthumbz has been having a great year so far, being a last minute bid after the cronk scandal. Signed to a 500k contract thumbz has won over half of his games while splitting time with Kodiak. After adding to the depth of there defense last week u can only expect thumbz numbers to continue climbing.


Manitoba Moose

While the top line for the moose get a great deal of the credit, its the second line that separates this team from others. That line is led by Prowsey, a solid defensive player who frankly just wins. When this guy is on your second line you have a good chance of winning. Playing this season with @D Boss l71l I wouldn't be surprised to see this line top 18 wins before playoffs.



This is just a list of guys who I personally think don't get enough credit, would love to hear who everyone else has to add to the list.

 

Great write up but @DontFWithFred is over ratted. The guy plays 100 games a night.

 

Can we get a shout out for the most under looked dman in history and a top 5 guy in lg @DADDYRIDESBIKE

 

Can confirm the bag has an enormous backpack and I will hop in that so good any day of the week

Hey thanks! And to think I was waived last season...twice and one by gabella...and went to CHL...Hmm.

 

Gabella just doesn't enjoy being carried.

 

Dramatically overrated player here.

 

Great write Up Pauly, Jaguar by far a very underrated player.

I dont see how @Z3R0CR45H is underrated. Its well known throughout the guy is a beast.

I think @LegendOfCapone is highly underrated. He has to carry me which takes a lot of back strength to carry my fat ass

 

@PaulyChunks ... @flipnremix needs to be added to this 9-0 since coming to Ont

The @squish12 , @RBK v420 ,@PROfesser waLsh line is one of the best forechecking lines i have had the displeasure of playing against all season. Kids can grind!
