Top 10 AHL Snipers

After seeing Rico's top 20 d-man list, I decided to create my own list of the top 10 snipers currently in the AHL. Most guys at least played down here last saeason or they're back down here for the upcoming season. I am probably missing a couple snipers, so my apologies. (This list only has regular season stats).

Top 10 AHL Snipers​

10. @SpruceMoose91 (141-59-15) - 306 Goals - 270 Assists - 576 Pts

Part of the S27 Calder Cup Champs squad, Spruce is a sniper that scored all their goals. Guy has had 5 30+ goal seasons in the AHL and has had 4 27-29 goals seasons making him one of the greatest snipers of all-time. If you want a sniper you better pick this man up, or he'll make sure to snipe it on your ass when he faces you.

9. @SpadsYo (104-83-21) - 350 Goals - 204 Assists - 554 Pts

Another snipe that I don't know much of. But when you score 44+ goals four times in your career, you're a fucking sniper. How the hell did you even score 70 goals one season? Teach @FtB x Grizz your sniping ways please.

8. @l Gabella l (56-33-6) - 153 Goals - 112 Assists - 265 Pts

This guy has BALLS. He put his LG career on the line by AGMing for Snoop. That takes guts and honestly, it fucked you for this list. You had the potential to be in the top 5 snipers. No one will forget your 57 goal season though. It was such a beautiful moment for not only yourself, but for the LG community. Good luck carrying WBS sniper.

7. @BuddyWhackit7 (21-4-3) - 61 Goals - 45 Assists - 106 Pts

I don't know much about this young sniper, but he scored a lot of goals last season so I had to put him on the list. He also played a lot of shitty teams so he better not be a fake sniper. Congrats on the 61 goal season bud, you've made the sniper list. For now.

6. l Mackie l (152-81-13) - 355 Goals - 259 Assists - 613 Pts

If only Faces wasn't such a dickhead he would be higher on this list. He is definitely a sniper though. 55 goal and a 80 goal seasons makes him one of the greatest pure snipers in the league. He was praying that @Gunwoat could carry him again, but that's gonna have to wait another reason.

5. @Gumba l11l (151-55-11) - 266 Goals - 254 Assists - 520 Pts

Gumba could be one of the most consistent snipers of all-time. Over 300 goals in the AHL is unreal. Not to mention he isn't a head case, which makes him one of the most perfect snipers you could ask for. Expect this man to score another 40 for fun next season. Unless he plays defense......

4. @Lorenzo x 24 (41-12-1) - 92 Goals - 67 Assists - 159 Pts

Possibly one of the most consistent and well-rounded snipers in recent memory. This machine put up 92 goals in his only two seasons in the AHL. That may be his greatest achievement in his life. Lorenzo will score another 50 goals this upcoming season so tape your ass' shut goalies. He's coming for ya.

3. @Stoner x 95 (103-62-10) - 247 Goals - 201 Assists - 448 Pts

As one of his closest friends I can honestly say that this man does not have an RT button. I play on his fricken side and half the time I can't see him on my screen because he's at the other teams blue line ffs. Fucking sniper though. 5 straight 30+ goal seasons here + he just came off a 51 goal season. He is HOT. Stoner is a sniper we see every 10-20 years. You'll never see another sniper like him.

2. @l Gentry l (59-20-5) 148 Goals - 92 Assists - 240 Pts

Gentry may be the least talented sniper on this list. He has had sonmeone carry him for the last three seasons and he is about to be carried yet again next season. Guy averages 46 goals a season so we have to respect his ability to hit the back of the net. If only he was a team player.

1. @The Legacyyyyy (116-53-8) - 360 Goals - 250 Assists - 610 Pts

Potentially the greatest sniper we've ever laid our eyes upon in the AHL. This man scores an average of 100 goals a season regardless of who his teammates are. Not only that, but he averages almost 1000 shots a season without even trying. When he was born, his father was heard saying "should we call our son Sniper?", however young Legacy's mother was not a big of that name. Anyways, this man will never leave the AHL because he is too much of a sniper to go up there (which is totally understandable).
