The St John's Ice Cap's Draft Showcase

Well due to shady antics by the Owner of the Montreal Canadians the Ice Caps organization has to deal with an unfortunate turn of events. Due to his actions we have been docked several points and we are no pretty much out of an chance of getting a play off spot let alone chance at one.

This as you can all believe have made many of the player discouraged to even find a reason to continue to show up to games and play, The highs and lows have been plentiful and this new low feels deepest of all. With so much uncertainty surrounding the future of the organization, how can we continue........

So as I was doing the stats for a game I didn't play in only for the sheer fact that I wanted those honest players to receive their stats along with the chance of Stars of the night and other features this site has to offer. I thought how can I revive any lost hope to these players who showed up time and time again.

It dawned on me. With the draft and bidding around the corner why not encourage all NHL Owners and future AHL GM's to watch our live broadcasts or view past game footage at www.twitch.tv/Filthy_Habitz for scouting purposes.

I really cant say enough about the players on this roster. Not all are NHL bound, but everyone of them showed up when they said they were... TC guys waiting at game time ready to go... Or even been sent to the TC roster without demanding a trade..

So whatever the future holds. Even as early as tomorrow. I just wanted to say Thanks for the highs and lows. We won some and lost some, but in the end we became a team......

Dont let others determine the perception of the team. Finish the season strong for yourselves and your team-mates. Its sad what has happened but does not reflect on your team as whole. Good luck the rest of the season and play it out strong for each other.

All I gotta say is Filthy you did your best. As for Kcrusher you guys should know he is banned for 3 seasons with no future considerations of becoming management at any level again with his ban. It is just sick that one guy ruined it for his whole organization. What he wanted to accomplish beats me but he is a scumbag in my books now. I personally didn't see this coming from Kcrusher and niether did other owners. It is what it is and all I can say to the Caps is finish your season off strong , build those resumes to the fullest of potential. Hope to see that whole AHL team back for season 2 don't give up just because of that scumbag. Don't let him ruin your virtual careers , league has taken care of him already .

I have not even played in a LG game yet, but I just want to say, good on you guys for continuing to play hard. Hopefully I will have the honor of playing with or against you guys at some point down the road. Much respect guys.
