    EAST

    Atlantic

    1. Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins :team301:
After making it to the Eastern Conference Finals last season, Hilly is back at it again with a new sidekick in Gumba for the upcoming season. Hilly has kept numerous players from last years team both upfront and on the back-end as well at ideal prices to give him some $$$ to neaten up his team in bidding. They added to their already well-rounded forward and d-core by bringing in DatsyukianxDeke, Gumba an ChiTown from Providence. Barring no problems from their tendys, look for the penguins to make a deep run in the East this season.

    Players to watch: @Gumba l11l @M a x y l19l @Big Blaster 14

    Forwards: A-
    Defense: A
    Goaltending: B-

    2. Lehigh Valley Phantoms :team302:
After a disappointing season, Nightmare is looking to turn things around and no better way to do that than adding Dunks to help quarterback the offence for The Phantoms. This team is solid in every category and especially having an exceptional goalie in Nightmare should only make them better. Hey they are even solid in the LG Staff category as well ;). Look for these guys to go toe to toe with the best.

    Players to watch: @Malchesky @Nightmare xX @JVR l21l

    Forwards: A-
    Defense: B
    Goaltending: B+

    3. Hershey Bears :team350:
After not showing up in last seasons playoff games (literally o_O), Mike Shea and Brassard look to change that for S27. Bringing in Bolts an V FrosTiC for their forward group were great additions that could pay off very well for them this year. If Mike Shea can do his thing and if C0TES can live up to his price tag, they are team not to be messed with. One question mark would be the goaltending but they may have the right defense to work with that.

    Players to watch: @C0TES @Mike Shea 19 @Brassard x 16

    Forwards: A-
    Defense: B
    Goaltending: B-

    4. Bridgeport Sound Tigers :team315:
After Laing having no success with the Bridgeport Tigers for several seasons, Facialize returns bringing in a well-rounded player in crosby to help #MakeBridgeportGreatAgain. They have a very intriguing d-core in Smitterr, xRKC and o Yggdrasill that will need to be firing on all cylinders throughout the season. One question mark I have is if they have a lethal enough offense to compete with the best in the East. In my opinion, the Tigers will be drastically than previous years. With that being said, don't be too surprised to see them in the middle of the pack this season.

    Players to watch: @PENSxCrosbyx87 @Smitterr @Bryce18xx716

    Forwards: B
    Defense: B+
    Goaltending: C

    5. Springfield Thunderbirds :team617:
After a mediocre playoff run for Hartford last season, Daddy Burnout has moved on to the Springfield Thunderbirds-- a team that has not had great success in past seasons. Along with Burnout, DINIx91 comes over as well to help boost the offense for the Thunderbirds and they are going to need it. Their defense seems to be the only really bright spot for their team in adding Koriegh, Kaddie, and Duff but also an expensive position as well. Their goaltenders and forwards are going to half to step it up big time if they want to crack the top 4.

    Players to watch: @Daddy Burnout @DINIx91 @Koriegh

    Forwards: B-
    Defense: B+
    Goaltending: C

    6. Hartford Wolfpack :team314:
Over in Hartford, Faces has risen from the management graveyard to team up with Tatar and Rapier to try to defy the odds of winning a calder with two management tendys. They have some decent forwards and a good draft pick in Pogs that will need to be sharp if they want to succeed this season. in my opinion, Hartford will most likely be a bottomfeeder team since their defence is mediocre unless the duo of Tatar and Faces can steal the show for the Wolfpack.

    Players to watch: @Im_Faces @Pogs @UnoX Clouds

    Forwards: B-
    Defense: C
    Goaltending: B-

    7. Providence Bruins :team352:
Finally we have the Providence Bruins. I would give them the number one spot for best management tag (OrpiksCornhole) but they are sadly last for this prediction. This team looks to be very average in almost every category and I just can't see them competing with the majority of teams in the east. Papa Munk and Duganator are some glimmers of hope for the Bruins but it doesn't look good. Who knows, maybe they can defy the odds and finish better than last in the Atlantic Division.

    Players to watch: @OrpiksCornhole @squish12 @Duganator III

    Forwards: D+
    Defense: C
    Goaltending: C-

    North

    1. Albany Devils :team305:
To kick off the North Division we have the Albany Devils. Some Pylon has entered the management world and is looking to bring Albany back to a contending team in the East. Bringing back Krejci as an AGM was a smart move being a well established forward. They have very high skilled players in No Undies On and the Calder Cup phenom Johnny Fivehole who can't stop winning. In addition, P Guin is a stud between the pipes and this team should have no problem contending in the East.

Players to watch: @nO Undies On @Johnny Fivehole @Ghostyy eX

    Forwards: A-
    Defense: B+
    Goaltending: B

    2. Binghamton Senators :team303:
After Larkin's and Holtby's successful one year tenure in Binghamton (losing to the eventual champions) , Horvat has come over from the LVP to pick up where the left off last season. Working with Horvat is a Orock who is a stud at 500k and also a well established goalie in Darcy Kuemper as well. The Senators have a very well-rounded roster with Eatchy and Garis up front and NHLxGunz and Hungry Storks rounding out the defense. If the sens aren't faced with any availability issues this season, look for them to make a dent in the AHL playoffs.

    Players to watch: @Horvat ll53ll @NHLx4xGUNZ @Garis93

    Forwards: B

    Goaltending: B+

    3. Rochester Americans :team312:
GThumbz and Zacha have aborted the Cleveland ship and moved over to the East to take on the challenge of making Rochester a contending team again. They started out on a positive note by having an great draft picks--2 enticing dmen coming from the Memorial Cup Champion Armada that could turn this team into a contender quickly. Although they look weak in the forward position, they have brought in two very good forwards in x Vince x 26 x from the NHL and also SpruceMoose from the S26 Baby Pens. In addition they have two very solid goaltenders in 212 and Ballzy. If Nabby aka Zacha can do his thing and the forwards can compete, don't count out the Americans to slip into a top seed in the division.

    Players to watch: @Zacha l 37 l @Gthumbz42o @x VINCE x 26 x

    Forwards: B-
    Defense: A-

    4. Utica Comets :team410:
Losh has returned as GM and is looking to change the culture of the comets. Bringing in A Salty Sail0r for the free contract was a smart decision since he is a very underrated dman. The comets have some decent forwards in Slavsky, Position Banc, and Angel but depth may be an issue for them. They have really solid defense and AngryPirate may turn out to be a stud at 500k. Their forwards are going to have to score at a consistent rate to get the comets into a deep playoff run.

    Players to watch: @Loshey @ol Angel lo @Slavsky x 21

    5. Syracuse Crunch :team309:
After a cinderella calder cup win last season, basically everyone has moved on from the crunch and they look to be on the rebuild side of things. Sakic brings in two high potential managers in Kovy and Officer Nastii which were decent choices since kovy is going back to forward. The crunch could very well surprise some teams by jumping into the 3rd spot with the successful CHL players they have added. The have some decent defensemen with Redmile running the point back there and could be a very good sleeper pick for this season.

    6.
    Toronto Marlies :team298:
After the getting eliminated by the Baby Sens last season, The Marlies looked to the CHL for a new manager in xXx Drouin xXx for the upcoming season. By the looks of it, Drouin doesn't look to have much help for his first season in the AHL which doesn't look good for his team. They have some intriguing pieces after picking up Casey, Drouin and Wilksey. Drouin looks to be heading in the direction of high end CHL players that who knows will maybe turn some heads this season.

    Players to watch: @XxDrouin27xX @x4x WILKESY x1x @X87ChAbQC

    Forwards: B-

    7. St. John's Ice Caps :team392:
After a first round exit in last seasons playoffs, the Ice Caps went in a new direction by picking up a great manager in Toxic Nightmare for the upcoming season. Everyone knew that Nightmare would bring in Toxic Scopes to the Caps but the AGM selection is one that puzzled me. The Ice Caps went all out on defense and have some good pickups but I don't think it is close to enough to carry the forwards this season. The d-core and tendys are going to have to be sharp for this team to have a shot at the playoffs

    WEST

    Central

    1. Cleveland Monsters :team317:
After Sniz carrying Landeskog and Stoner to a Calder Cup, the bromance returns once again to the team they defeated in last years finals. By the looks of it, this teams offense is one of the best I've seen in the history of the AHL and they shouldn't disappoint this season. Gunwoat is also back in Cleveland that adds another element to their already stacked offense. Their defense are the only question mark but it looks like they have some intriguing prospects in the system. Not to mention, they have two of the best goalies in the league to top it all off. It should come to no surprise that these guys should compete for another Calder this season and I am happy to pass the the torch off to the almighty Lingross to carry Landy and Stoner this season... Make me proud kid!

    #FreeBeta ?

    2. Rockford IceHogs :team349:
After getting eliminated by the Western Conference Champs, 4thLineWorthy is back at it again with KSP and with a team that could have more depth than last season if thats even possible. 4th also added his S23 crunch duo in ll 7th ll in between the pipes. They have a lethal offense with Averageboy, JBarnsey, and Scumbag Jared returning. Not to mention they have one of the best hut players in their system and many 1st round defense prospects to fill in the holes on the point. This team should be dominant once again and should go head to head with the Cleveland Monsters in the playoffs.

    Players to watch: @Scumbag Jared @Im4thLineWorthy @ll 7th ll

    Forwards: A
    Defense: B+
    Goaltending: B

    3. Grand Rapids Griffins :team299:
Legacy has finally left Wag's nest and has set up shelter in Grand Rapids for the upcoming season. Schizostone is back again and is running the show along with Legacy and a very underrated player in RemmyDarko. The Griffins have brought in Joonetic and NHL JL 13 this season to add to the top notch offense. They have depth all around, especially on the point by adding Banak, Hungry Ducks, and Geonosis as well. It doesn't come to a surprise that this management group has assembled a team that can compete with the best of the best.

    Players to watch: @Its A Me Legacy @Joonetic @Ats

    4. Charlotte Checkers :team393:
Charlotte looks to improve after a lackluster S26 and they sure are off to a good start with having Horty, Jim, and DA JABR0NY for their management core. The checkers have some very good forwards such as Papi Gonzalez, and also Hed Honcho, and Synthesis, 2 ex teammates of Carolina's owner Wags. FtB x Grizz on the point is a great fit for the checkers but they are going to need a full team effort to conquer this division. The Checkers could very well slip into the top 3 if they play up to their potential.

Players to watch: @heD HonChO @x PAPI GONZALEZ @FtB x Grizz

    5. Manitoba Moose :team307:
DudleyDoWright is back from the NHL and is teaming up with Hamburglar Time to take over the Manitoba Moose for the upcoming season. Headlining their forwards are SpadsYo, Bitty nP, and Cydonian Knight which any team would love to have. Also they have Hammy and Stealthy Whales added to the d-core and DWinger at 500k is a steal. 2.5 mil in the goalie category is kind of an eye sore and they need their forward depth to come through this season. The moose can easily interchange between 3rd and 5th in the division this season since it is so close.

    Players to watch: @SpadsYo @Hammy x 27 @DudleyDoWright5

    Forwards: B
    Defense: B+

    6. Milwaukee Admirals :team390:
RandomFnHero has finally decided to take over a team in the AHL by taking over the Milwaukee Admirals even tho Macros will be cradling him all season . Their defense is really their only strong position as they have Bell and JohnCena back there. One question mark for the Admirals is their forwards. I don't think they have the depth to compete with some of the teams in their division this season. I think they would of been better of spending more money on their forward core and a little less on their goaltenders even tho Viva La Rangers is a great tendy.

Players to watch: @Idropyy @Bellx91 @Viva La Rangers

    Forwards: C+
    Defense: B-
    Goaltending: B

    7. Iowa Wild :team362:
Clancy has come from the CHL and dived into the management world for LGAHL S27. It appears that he has brought along his CHL counterparts Ozzy and Thomps from the previous season in Saginaw. At this point, their team looks pretty average in every category with a few highlights on defense in Big E Delong and DwnSyndromeDAV3 but other than that nothing too special. Who know, maybe some of the CHL additions will turn some heads and be able to steal some games from some teams but could also interchange with the last place in this stacked division.

    Players to watch: @Big E DeLong @DwnSyndromeDAV3 @BeefyCaucasian

    Forwards: C+
    Defense: B
    Goaltending: C+

    8. Chicago Wolves :team395:
This looks to be the first time in a very long time that teams in the AHL were not talking about how the Chicago Wolves are going to be this season. Falconeflame didn't have great mentorship from Laing and also it appears he didn't have much help in forming a management team either. The wolves have Haze The Scorer and TubbyTurbo but other than that they don't have much depth other than their goalies. I could see the Wolves being better than the Wild this season and if they step up they could get into the top 6, but it isn't looking good.

    Players to watch: @Haze The Scorer @Tubbyturbo13 @King Ellis101

    Pacific

    1. San Diego Gulls :team518:
Kav has finally decided to make a team his own by taking over the San Diego Gulls for S27. The gulls are looking very solid by adding WILKESY to the free contract for an AGM spot. The Gulls added the Youtube duo in DekeaSaurusRex and SpenceDangles at very appropriate prices. Also, They went all out on defensemen by spending a combined 11 Mil on HowieDoo and Rico Suave which was a good move by them to lock in their top two defensemen. Although the Pacific is a weak division, The Gulls are not a team to be messed with in the West, they can compete with the best.

Players to watch: @l KaV l @Gala @Rico Suave FLS

    Forwards: A-
    Defense: B+

    Goaltending: B

    2. Tucson Roadrunners :team618:
After a successful playoff run, The Roadrunners are looking to cement themselves as a legitimate playoff team in the West. Ristolainen came into Tucson with a team that had two returning players in LG MacDonald and also Lorenzo as the AGM up front for the Roadrunners. They have some good potential in Korpy upfront as well and can carry his own for sure. Risto, Eagles and Benzy round up the top 3 on the backend in Tucson and they will be looking to make a good run in the West this season.

    Players to watch: @l Ristolainen l @LG McDonald @Korpy

    Forwards: B+
    Defense: B+
    Goaltending: B

    3. Stockton Heat :team516:
After a disappointing season from Nightmare, Alexander and Young Buck are coming in to pick up the pieces and create a winning atmosphere in Stockton again. The Heat looked to go all in on their d-core by spending big on Smokelessly and Lost and Hungry who are both top defensemen for sure. They also have a really solid tendy in Notorious Fat who is definitely a great presence in the locker room. One question mark for Stockton may be their forwards since they decided to go all in on defensemen. Only time will tell if the forwards can perform in Stockton. They should definitely compete for top 3 in their weak division.

    Players to watch: @Lost and Hungry @Smokelessly @Kronwall x l55l

    Forwards: B
    Defense: B+
    Goaltending: B

    4.
    Texas Stars :team300:
xxCARUCHxx is back for another season in Texas and has brought a successful CHL player in JuniorHawk along for the ride. The Stars have an intriguing prospect by the name of Deusyuk who has ripped up the CHL for a few seasons now. It will be interesting to see if Texas has the cap space to bring him up this season. There forwards are decent since adding ShortyxLose, Iverson, and Nylander in bidding for alright prices. There defence are pretty average but YANN looks like to be the true #1 there, but again they have some good DP defensemen that they could bring up if the cap situation worked out. The stars are a make or break it team and if they get those prospects up from their training camp they will be looking pretty good.

    Players to watch: @ShortyxLOSE @Nylander x 29 @I2I YANN I5I

    Forwards: B+
    Defense: B
    Goaltending: B-

    5. San Jose Barracuda :team519:
After some mentoring from JJr, Leddy has decided to take over the San Jose Barracuda--whom had an awful season last year from expectations. Leddy has teamed up with Andrews who was his duo on the point in Dallas last season and they are looking to create problems for forwards in S27. They went all out on Clarkeskog spending 8 mil on the PSN LGHL player but it is up to debate if he can carry the majority of the Barracuda offense. One player I like on their back end is Dekeapedia at only a 1 mil price is very good for SJ. Again, I just can't see their offense being able to compete with San diego or Tucson but who knows, maybe Leddy has us in for a surprise.

    Players to watch: @Clarkeskog @Dekeapedia @Leddy

    Forwards: B-
    Defense: B
    Goaltending: C+

    6. Ontario Reign :team517:
SMS Fan is back again in Cali by managing the Ontario Reign for the 2nd straight season. SMS is teaming up with Sizzle up front and General Jobo on the backend to try to bring the Reign to a playoff team like they once were. The Reign seem to have some decent DP Fwds in OEL and and Dynasty but I think 4 mil for Wagner was an overpayment for sure. They made 2 smart moves by spending roughly 10 mil on Flow Sauce Chew and Cousin Avi who are two well known defensemen from the AHL so there is a glimmer of hope. In the end, I think that for the Reign to make a good run, they will need a few upgrades to the forward group.

    Players to watch:

    Forwards: C+
    Defense: B +

    7. San Antonio Rampage :team363:
MayerTopCat is coming off a Memorial Cup win has the manager in Armada, and is looking to carry over that success into the AHL for the San Antonio Rampage. Mayer also brings along Reggie Howser to accompany him on the path to the Calder. However, the Rampage look to be very mediocre in certain areas, specifically on the back end. If they are going to compete, their forwards are going to have to carry the load because their d-core may not be strong enough to compete at the AHL level.

    Players to watch: @MayerTopKat100 @Reggie Howser @Danky

    Forwards: C+
    Defense: C
    Goaltending: C+

    8. Bakersfield Condors :team515:
Lastly, we have the Bakersfield Condors. Paul Weck is the captain of this ship and by the looks of it it may already be sinking. Other than a91Tavares, their forward core looks fairly week. Livid Penguin and El Diablo look to be their top two on the point but I don't think any defense is good enough to help carry the forward group here.

    Players to watch: @a91 Tavares @LividPenguin924 @EL I DIABLO I

    Forwards: C-
    Defense: B-
    Goaltending: C-

That concludes my S27 AHL Predictions. A lot of time and effort went into making this, most importantly I hoped you guys enjoyed.
