    My biggest question is will the players who were not drafted be up for bidding in AHL and CHL? because i think players are eligible for AHL bidding if they have 15 games played, but with people signing up late during the season there are many players who don't have 15 games played. so do they all go to the CHL? And my other question is if i need a player because that player isn't eligible for bidding can i just pick him or her off of the CHL?

    NHL DRAFT / NHL BIDDING / AHL BIDDING / CHL BIDDING / TC AUTO-ASSIGN (CHL)

    I am pretty sure this is how things happen. The NHL will hold the draft after the playoffs are done. Then all remaining eligible players will go into the NHL bidding pool. After that is complete the remaining players will pool into the AHL bidding. Once that is complete whatever is left will be for the CHL to bid on. Once the bidding has commenced then the remaining players and new sign ups will be placed on CHL TC rosters.......


    I could be wrong, but it just only makes sense.

    So, from a CHL standpoint, will the teams have any affiliation with AHL or NHL teams? If not, who will have the rights to the players on the team?

    No, But by design.

    For the current xbox CHL we have 48 teams, last year we had 20, the year before 28 or something. We need the CHL to have a variable # of teams as it does change a lot season to season

    How the connection works, is someone in the CHL is actually put on 2 teams
    -An AHL teams TC
    -And on a CHL Team

    The AHL part is their connection to their AHL/NHL team, and the CHL roster is their CHL team. So CHL teams are filled by people from all sorts of AHL TC's but become its own CHL team.

    Its been a very successful solution of the years.

    Does this mean that the players will be assigned to the CHL teams and not drafted? Personally, I see more positives in the players being assigned vs. having them drafted but that is just my opinion.
