@NYR95 carried a line of 1-2 mil players to a 20 win season. Generally, most people would be happy to get 12-13 wins out of a line like that. George single handedly won us 7-8 games if not more with his goal scoring ability. Take 7-8 wins off of St Louis (which we probably didn't deserve to win but George took them over) and we are a wildcard team in a soft middle pack for the West and not in the playoffs in the East.
Again boany deserves this more than anyone. Best record and against playoff teams too. Stop being bias people....
He wasn't management so it's not like he could control his opponents and who he plays. He was tasked with winning whatever game he was scheduled to play. In the end it's about the wins and he won 20, many probably undeserved outside of his ability to dominate offensively. Without George, that line (Breaky and I) would probably win 12-13 games with your average LW
