    The Calder Memorial Trophy is a seasonal award given to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the NHL. Please look through and pick the player you think most deserves the award based on their statistical performance. This poll will not be the main deciding factor in the final decision.

    I used an average opponent strength instead of record against playoff teams. This way you can see a clear picture of how tough all their opponents were and not just a few. Higher the score the better of course.
