Rules?

ya how about a rule that lundy has TO FUCKING PLAY IN THE SNOW EVERY GAME. GODDAMMIT MAN WHERE'S THE SNOW

 

yea.. you would think guys would try to play it realistically at least a little, but I have teams going on 4th down like were playing MUT

 

To me, it's all very situational.

I find the playstyle of running out to the sidelines with your QB or doing that straight punt thing that gets a ridiculous bounce more unrealistic than someone going for it on 4th in majority of situations. That's a coaching decision and the no accelerated clock gives you more chances to be aggressive early on. The only rules, IMO, should be anything that exploits the AI/something that cannot be countered.

And this is from someone who would rather punt the ball 99% of the time than go for it.

 

I understand your frustration Mav, I really do. There are things that aren't exactly realistic but everything has a counter. The reason I haven't started laying out all these gameplay rules/restrictions is because it will open up everyone to bitch non-stop. The 4th down thing, it's a risk. If someone is up by 20+ points and they are going for it, then I completely agree with you. If it's 4th and 5 from the 48 in a close game or something like that, it's a risk. You have just as good of a chance to stop them as they have picking it up.

I know you had expressed some frustration with Dr Dee dropping all 11 back into coverage on 3rd and long. If you guys want to put up a vote on pass rusher minimum's then I have no problem doing that. If someone drops 11 on me, CJ2k will running straight up the gut for 25 once I can pop his elbow back into place.

 

Well, you can check my gameclips, it was very predictable in the end and I ended up gaining 20+ yards per play when he did that because I just sat there with my QB until someone got open. Granted, all the idiots were waiving at me thinking they were open, lol.

The stupid line drive punt needs to go. No way should you be punting from your own endzone and be able to get the ball down at my 10

 

I'm guilty of this but am more than happy to not do it if I know others are going to stop doing it as well.
