    After a 3 game night we ad a community have a ton of feedback I'm sure on the new lobby for game night.

    I considered putting this in the management forums but why not make it an open discussion.

    I'm going to avoid posting my thoughts until a discussion has begun to help avoid bias but 1 thing I did notice is it is impossible to choose who is home and who is away. The lobby just randomly assigns it which could add in possible delay times for game starts.

    The feed back is coming in already, and its 50-50 except for my boy Dity telling me the league makes horrendous decisions.

    PIN System:

    PROS:
    -Easier for ECU if we need them
    -Quick system to setup
    -Pin is already built into the APP and standings
    -System matches up based on the best host for the randomly assigned home team.
    -convenient for players not on the same EASHL team

    CONS:
    -issues matching up even though the PIN matches.
    -few disconnects within the first 3-4 minutes(4-5 cases reported)
    -OCR will need some work based on the team stats issues(randomly assigned home team)

    Club Challenge:

    PROS:
    -Matches home and away correctly
    -convenient for those teams whom all are on the same EASHL team.
    -System we used up until now(that many have complained about)

    CONS:
    -Makes ECUing difficult
    -Time consuming for lagouts and issues
    -Club Challenge issues where guys can't join the lobby

    Neutral Facts
    -PIN System, Club Challenge, Club, and Drop in are all on the save servers
    -PIN System randomly assigns the home team, then selects the best host from that home team selection

    My thoughts:

    I don't want to get into too much rant about attitudes and such since that will be the topic of the Pod cast tomorrow(everyone needs to listen).

    Before we get into to much debate and detail we all NEED to remember this is only a video game and REGARDLESS of what the League decides and supports for the remainder of the season it CAN'T POSSIBILITY inconvenience your life to the point where you want to quit or turn into a complete Debbie downer.....

    I think both systems need work to better support the LGHL and Pro Series.... Right now a minor OCR adjustment would make the PIN System the best option for EVERYTHING League related.

    Tomorrow Tris and I are gonna sit down and look at all our options and then move forward.

    For the time being use whatever works for you. I've heard 100% success stories for ALL teams whom tried ONE or THE OTHER options to get League games started.

    Overall it's nice to have options to ensure we can get some relief if one system doesn't work.

    I think it is quite insensitive to refer to a Debbie as being a downer. Debbie's everywhere struggle day in and day out fighting back against this kind of name stereotyping. Do you realize just how hard it is to be a Debbie and make friends? Or how hard it is for them to go UP in an elevator? Guess your just a real Donald Downer than huh?

    On a more serious note, I was experiencing something strange in the first and only drop in pin game today that I could only describe as a graphic lag. The visuals seemed to be trying to catch up with what was going on, it was strange and only happened to me and the drugs had nothing to do with it.

    P.S. Nabby/Matty Hands is looking to play Minecraft

    First game of the night we spent about 15 minutes trying to match up with the pin system, gave up, then used club challenge the rest of the night. I'd be perfectly fine with the drop-in lobbies if they actually worked... Don't really want to sit around for 15+ minutes each time just trying to match with the opposing team.

    Only issue I got last night was the screen felt like it was trying to catch up with what was happening on the ice, never happened to me before, didn't quite felt like I was lagging but something was off. - Only when playing away for some reason.

    I played it for Buffalo last night and gilleh had 400 ping and we all had 58. It was awful the only time I used it. Sucked but prob just a one time thing.

    I played in a 2 league games yesterday where I and the whole team was having major issues with the method. Specifically this. it just didnt feel right, seemed slow and I dont know if a clip will do is justice to how it felt.

    I do agree the club challenge takes a bit longer, but if people actually got their teams together at a reasonable time, say 5 minutes before game time instead of waiting till the last minute, these late starts wouldnt always happen. Ive never had an issue in CC with feeling slow or anything like it was for the drop in method yesterday, my ping is always less than 10 and idk, just felt super weird and slow on my end and seemingly for all others in party.

    Our whole team other than Reebok was lagging last night. my ping is usually 12 to 18. last night it was running at 65 the whole game.

    The 3rd Game... We couldn't connect to the other team despite searching at the same time.

    Used it for the 2nd game... Had no issues

    I felt amazing finally hosting a lg game lol. Normally when I play lg on Club challenge my ping is around 40-50.
    Last night it was 8-9 when I was host hehe.

    Ours was closer to 70 haha usually I'm 14-17 last night my.lowest was 68 highest was 93 in our game. the other 2 we ended up having to us challenge

    Once again, that is just generic server issues we have had all season. When you break down exactly what EA added to the game in this patch, the server side of things was never adjusted or addressed. So regardless of if we use Club Challenge, Drop-in, PIN system or normal club the server side of things is identical.

    I am interested to see if RBK was host. If we had 11 guys on the Eastern server and one guy Euro, it shoulda went to the East server.

    Yea that happened to me yesterday when I was testing it. It almost seems like when it doesn't load in 25-30 second restart the search.

    I'd contribute all of that to general server issues we have had all season. It's just bad timing for us trying something new and them having server issues.

    I'll confirm again today with EA but his PING is on him.... The servers are the EXACT same fro Club and Drop in.

    Keep in mind all EA did was add a feature for us to get together for league games. They didn't give us a dedicated server that is different from EASHL or Drop in.

    A couple guys on my team including myself have had the same problem almost like a framerate drop.

    Personally I think EA is experiencing more server issues than they realize. I wouldn't be shocked to see your issue be related to that

    twitch.tv/hockeyinfo33 watch any of them, frame rate issue is in all of em. It's not specific to this lobby.
