The thing about owning a team is that you need to be open to....

1. Hurting your friends feelings.
2. Sometimes taking a hard L and not bitching and moaning about it.
3. Realizing that other teams are likely going to be better than you to start out with.
4.Not completely quitting after a few losses.

I've been in this league every season, and was staff for 4 of them. I know what it takes to be an owner and have seen several owners that I thought were qualified to do the job the ended up being teams that folded within the 1st 2 weeks.

Not saying that you would be the same, but just pay heed to the warning and be prepared for whatever might come at you, because at times, it will not be fun whatsoever.

 

Owner here. My contract is the perfect value for two reasons: 1) When I do well, no one paid an ungodly amount to get me, and 2) When I suck, at least no one spent any money on me. I'm just providing insight like requested......so I don't get fined.

With that attitude i wonder why you cant get playing time . When your the self proclaimed "best player on your team" no one wants you because you already have an ego and you havent even played a game.

 

Also same as him. S6 i had a prior disagreement with the owner i got autoassigned to. So then after some events, new owner came in and i messaged him, got a chance to play and then ive never been a sub since and i play striker, ended up winning the FA Cup that season. If your get enough you should have no problem proving them that your good enough with your play

@YESYESGetBodied Unless you have been playing in another 11s league no one knows about, theres a good chance you arent the best player on your team. Its nothing personal but theres some really good players in this league that have been playing 11s for years. Being good is about how many games you have played and how you use your previous experience to be better. I have yet to see anyone be "good" in their first time playing 11's. We've all been the new guy and theres nothing wrong with it. Its the old saying of practice makes perfect. No one thats considered a good 11's player got there on day 1. Ive experienced the climb and ive also been around long enough to see new people to the league get better and better every season to the point where i consider them really good players.

If you are serious about getting into the league, you just gotta put in the time and effort it takes to build up your personal skill level. If anyone tells you that you arent good enough, realize its not a personal attack on you as a person and put the games in so no one can say those words again.

Well if you recognize that then try to play a new position, you'll be surprised how fun it is to stop an attack as a CB or LB and how good it feels to make a crazy save.

 

Idk why your guys keep making stuff up. Never said I was the best and I already said I can play anywhere, so keep joking. Btw no one has seen me even play so you can't even rate what you haven't seen.

 

I never have an ego until management basically stays quite and starts playing games without notifying players of any sort or games going on. Not even warmups or any practices. You guys have your lineup and talk amongst yourselves. No responses in team chat. And literally both teams I've been on I've played with scrubs. I never said anything about my skill until games started being played and it's like I'm not even part of S10. So your theory is wrong.

 

But you said exactly that in your first post.

When you are on the team that won the league last year and has most of their roster returning, your playing time is going to be minimal, if you even get a chance. You can politely ask your owner for a trade to another team, where you might get a chance to play. Instead of airing out your discontent in a public place, maybe send an xbox message.
