BTW, my wife's family is from Upland and I lived there for a while also so I have some attachment to the :bla: and :anaa: . :bsf: too. Since I don't live there anymore I have kinda stopped following them but they are on my list also.
Darthor, take the Giants, but stay away from Angels, I want them. They are my first choice, backup is Dodgers .
It's all about positioning. I probably won't put any west coast team on my list. I absolutely hated living in the "greater" LA area. There are some good teams out there now though.
Just for the sake of being bored this would be my top five. 1) :bmin: Grew up very close to here and have and will always be a huge fan. Kirby Puckett is my all time favorite player. 2) :cinnr: Where I live now. Not a huge fan but do root for them. It is sad though the way the team was dismantled after building a new stadium. 3) :bhou: No shot in getting this team but you gotta love the rotation and the offense to boot. 4) :bchiw: Good talent all around. I also know this team very well since their in the same division as the :bmin: . 5) :bstl: Pujols is probably one of my favorite players out their right now but their pitching is questionable. Killer offense though.
Anyone know if they charge your card immediately for the game at espn or do they charge it when it ships ala ebgames.com?
Could anybody please ban mnkytrix . Nah, but mnky, who will you ask for first, Angels or Dodgers? Go with Padres, they rule lol.
lol thanks DenMan, I sense some sarcasm in my post though lol. J/K, I know you are just kidding. Padres may have a bit of a better year, but not much lol.
To tell you the truth I would most likely be happy with either team, but I haven't made up my mind yet. Just like all other games, I hardly think the team one gets will effect the outcome that much. However, the Angels do have a nice looking squad on paper. Hopefully McCourt will do the same next season and move some front office people around.
well honestly, I hope the Dodgers get something done. I mean they have potential to be a really great team, but they never hire anybody, because they are too miserly.
I am starting to look interested in the game especiall at that price. I mean you cant beat it. I would be looking to get the :bmin: as I obviously already have two of the Minnesotan Teams, but if not I wouldnt mind taking the :bsea: or the :bdet: (jk)
I'm just glad that I don't have any competition for my hometown fave team the d-backs :arad: ...and even gg can't beat me out for them since he probably hasnt been to a d-backs game and I'm a season ticket holder baby! Yea!
I actually went to a couple of games but I am not into the purple and green thing they got going on, not to mention they no longer have Schilling. Ill take :bosr: though cuz they will also be picking up A Rod sometime soon  ..............
they might not have schilling anymore, but they still have Johnson and that rookie from last year Good...They also jsust aquired veteran Roberto Alomar and All Star Firstbaseman Richie Sexson...So I'm set for hitting..I just have to worry about my bullpen..I gotta hope that Matt Mantei can carry the load himself :?
I am very much looking forward to this game and playing online this year. I just couldn't pull the trigger on Inside Pitch last year, so this year I'm more excited than ever to play online. I don't care who I have to step on to get the :bstl:, but know I'll do anything. I guess my back-up would have to be :bkc: who looks to have a pretty solid team this year both in pitching and offense. I do have to say I'd take a can of gasoline and pour it and a lit match on my XBox if I somehow ended up with :chic: or :bchiw: !
Oh, just an admin or two. St. Louis born and raised here, Cards fan for 30yrs. DeNMaN also lives in KC and loves my Cards too. hehe
