I was going to comment on that. It looks like i can pick up the Islanders next season in the NHL if i want. the only team left is the Mets that would make my life complete. Dont you want to be the Yanks Willow. There so much better then the Mets. Look at all there talent and money. Ill even act like Steinbrenner and call you once a week and tell you how to run your team. And Joe Torre is an XMet.
On a side note i dont hate the Yanks like most baseball fans. My team picks would be :bnym: ,:bnyy: , and then whoever. I like to play National league teams, No DH adds another demension late in the game, that i like.

 

Man nothing worse then having to explain a joke. But anyways I am expecting to lose a lot of games with the Rays that is why I am talking crap now while I can.

I was thinking about picking up ESPN 2k4 because i wanted to teach everyone here that they need to respect my :hnyr: but i'll wait for 2k5. I'm sorry to say this but as a true mets fan i MUST hate Steinbrenner and then dam overpriced talent( :bnyy: Derek Jeter anyone?). BTW, you kind of took the team i wanted for the NFL league but it's all cool. NOW I got "SHOWTIMEVICK" and doing pretty well. Hopefully you're on my schedule and ill teach you a lesson or 2 lol. The only way i would trade the :bnym: if someone wants to give me to :bsf: this is the only second team i would take.

Yeah i do like the no DH rules. Damn fun when the score is tied in the 9th and you have your pitcher. That is also why i like the Mets pitchers.

hey, look on the bright side for me, there is nobody here that really lives near Anaheim Angels or Los Angeles Dodgers, that is so far showing lots of interest in the baseball league. TMG, you had better not show your face in this thread lol .

 

So what happened to the Houston loyalty card when the Texans were handed out? I already play with one of Houston's teams. :ften: Well if that's the game (I know it's not) then I live 4 hours from Atlanta. That's 4 hours closer to Atlanta than someone else. :wink: I'd also like to play with the :bcol: , :bkc: , :cinnr: or :bcle: .

 

Like Darthor said, if you're going to play the home team loyalty card, it's all or nothing guys (this goes for you too Latdogg... you can't pick and choose the Chicago teams you want).

 

Atlanta is my favorite team but it might be fun to deal with the :btex: ....but by all means if you would like to use coloradp or kansas city go for it!

 

I'm going with teams that 1) I have followed since I was a kid :bkc: , 2) teams I have seen play at their home stadium :bcol: and then next closest local team in keeping with the spirit of the league. My favorite team has been and will always be :bstl: (no comment) :wink: and although I don't really care for the :batl: it would be silly not to want to play with a team that talented. No need to keep "claiming" and what not. Nothing's going to happen from all this talk anyway. Just trying to keep pace with all the Jones'.
