Just a lil Playoff info for you guys. Playoffs will start immediately after week 5 and follow the same days. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Top 6 teams will get in. Top 2 seeds will receive a bye. Finals MUST BE PLAYED. Any games missed must be rescheduled. We will not have another sim championship. Non Negotiable. All settings will remain the same. With where we are at now we will be getting another season in.That's exciting I think as the season would end just as the next game is released. We will be giving a few weeks for 2k to hopefully fix the servers a bit seeing as how they suck usually right off of the release. *Update* A 10 point lead will be given to the team who showed up to the scheduled game. So in the makeup/rescheduled game they will add 10 PTs to their totals. Each person in lineup gets 2 PTs per. This will prevent teams from let's say, avoiding a game because their top dawg can't make it on the night of the scheduled game. And of course video evidence (snapshot) of your team in lobby if you want the 10 PTs in the reschedule. *Update #2* Playoffs are set guys. I have the signup threads in your team forums. The Oklahoma City Thunder & Houston Rockets have 1st round byes as the 1 and 2 seed. The Golden State Warriors will play against the Washington Wizards. The Chicago Bulls will be playing against the San Antonio Spurs. Members who have zero games played will be removed from the roster. If your team wins a championship, the only members receiving badges will be players on the Active Roster and any TC players who play in a playoff game.
the team who no-shows should have to let their best player stand at the scorer's table for the first two minutes of the game so the team who actually followed the rules gets a 2 minute power play.
I understand wanting to have playoff games played; thats how I'd want it too. But you're basically giving teams a free pass to not have to follow the schedule. We all did, afterall, sign up for this league knowing the nights that we're supposed to play. Personally, id be pissed if my opponent couldnt play the actual scheduled nights and we were forced to make-up the game on a night that I myself am not available for.
We aren't giving them a free pass but we're not gonna be handing out forfeits on the same nights as games just cuz people can't even try to reschedule. There is no reason that 5 games can't be played. Regardless of what teams make it into playoffs. It's not changing.
you neglected to address my point about players missing out on games because the other team cant follow the rules I mean seriously, I (and many others) signed up for this league to play the nights that you specified. Is it really fair that players like myself may miss out on playoff games because teams may not be able to play when they're supposed to? The only solution to that is waiting until the next week's scheduled game times and then this is going to take forever.
So what's the punishment for the team who isn't able to show up? Because the punishment for the team who follows the rules is making them get on the box another night. It's not about not trying to reschedule, I don't even know what that means, it's more about punishing the team who follows the fucking rules and letting the other team get a mulligan for no reason.
Honestly who ever is the no show team is the team that should need to bend more. But in all honesty the games just need to be played. The teams had enough season to make moves and improve the depth past the 1st line. We've had such a small issue with this this season that We're not worried with exception of one team, but I'm not gonna sim another finals.

Guys we're gonna push week 5 games back to Saturday for a maximum reschedule date. Please get games in if you can. If not they'll be randomly simmed so we can get sign-ups up in time for guys to have a chance to look and sign up for monday games
