First time doing this, hopefully you guys enjoy. EASTERN CONFERENCE: (M1) New Jersey Devils vs (W2) Detroit Red Wings Let's face it, New Jersey is most probably going to represent the East again this season. My dad @Odieeeeee has done an excellent job on building a very consistent powerhouse. There are little to no holes found on the Devils team, and there's quite a few to be found on the Red Wings team. Prediction: Devils in 4. (M2) Columbus Blue Jackets vs (M3) Carolina Hurricanes The Blue Jackets were a surprise this season, I don't think anyone expected them to have the season they had. @Nick_x_98 did an excellent job of building a solid squad. Carolina is still a good team, but I barely know anyone on their D core, so it looks suspect to me. Many people say that the Blue Jackets are just a season team and that they will be a 1st round exit. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. Prediction: Blue Jackets in 6. (A1) Buffalo Sabres vs (W1) Washington Capitals @Ryan_x_28 has done an excellent job of assembling one of the better D cores in the league. The Sabres currently have a top tier dman on all three lines. What's kind of neat, is that they have a pretty solid forward core too. I wouldn't wanna face this team in a game 7 if I were Washington. Washington is a pretty solid group too, but Buffalo is just a better team, and the season records prove it. Prediction: Buffalo in 5. (A2) Florida Panthers vs (A3) Ottawa Senators This series is going to be a long one imo. Both teams are very evenly matched, so I see this game going to a game 7. I think Ottawa has a better game 7 lineup, therefore they should be able to take this series. Prediction: Ottawa in 7. WESTERN CONFERENCE: (C1) Dallas Stars vs (W2) Minnesota Wild Chief continues to amaze me. The Stars are undoubtedly the most complete team in the league. They are solid from head to toe. The only flaw I see is probably the lack of a big name dman, but I think their OP forward core erases that fact. @Agger23 surprised many people. He was able to make the playoffs playing in the toughest division in the league, as his first season as owner. (Something I couldn't do). Prediction: Dallas in 5. (C2) Colorado Avalanche vs (C3) St. Louis Blues As much as I hate @CoUnTeR-AtTaCk43, he knows how to build good teams. This is the 2nd time in a row, he's able to make the playoffs playing in the central. However, it's unfortunate that he matched up to arguably the hottest team entering the playoffs. @meka DVA meka surprised me. I didn't think he would've been able to fix his roster, after the early season loss of his top line Center. I think St. Louis continues their success in the postseason. Prediction: Blues in 6. (P1) Calgary Flames vs (W1) Vancouver Canucks @BigJayAyotte knows how to build teams. After losing in the Finals last season, he's going to want to at least make it there again. Calgary has a very solid forward core, but their D core could be better. However, they probably have the best goalie duo in the league. Their goalies can steal them games, when they need to. @xxSNIPESHOTxx21 had a great season in Vancouver, building a solid core. However, they are just not on Calgary's level. Prediction: Calgary in 4. (P2) San Jose Sharks vs (P3) Anaheim Ducks Finally, the Sharks are in the postseason. @radicalapex has done a remarkable job of putting this team in the playoffs, after finishing at the bottom of the barrel in the previous seasons. Unfortunately, he matches up to @Polska_B0SS_780 in the Ducks who've had a significant turnaround in the second half of the season. I think the Sharks lack of playoff experience bites them, and I see this series being a long one. Prediction: Anaheim in 7.
