The new OCR doesn't work. I took pictures and it only read half of the player stats and in the stat page there are a ton of errors.
Looks Like Minutes Played are not showing up correctly... and who ever is the goalie on the bottom part of the Game Summery doesn't seem to get picked up. From what I saw on the games I played in example: http://www.leaguegaming.com/forums/.../league&action=league&page=game&gameid=403044
Yup i fixed that this morning, i cropped too low and the last line (away goalie) didnt get picked up. Remove and readd the image in the ocr and it will be fixed
~~ 3 Changes to the OCR System today ~~ The most important change, and issue we've discovered is now the home & away is random, and not only that if there is a restart, perhaps only stats from certain periods would be the incorrect home/away teams. So rather then build a fix where you, the OCR input user would have to flag "some" of the screen shots to flip the home/away , i built a system the best i could to recognize if the home/away is incorrect inside the player stats images from the OCR and automatically do corrections, No change or new training needed for the LG User. How it works is i read your "Player Stats" OCR and the users inside it, i then match that up with who i know from the game detail should be home and away Normally in this image, the home team is at top, the away team is at the bottom, in this case notice its reversed If i detect this is reversed, ie the home/away is incorrect i flag it on the ocr image for later. Then when you "Save" the game using the OCR , i look for this flag (for the period partition selected) and if its a team stats or period stats image, i flip the stats round. Thus giving us a full, automated work around. The 2nd change, i fixed the "MIN" field, it wasn't converting back down to seconds and back up to minutes correctly. As of this post it will carry the proper time. The 3rd change is last night i was cropping the images to low and the away goalie wasn't getting picked up. Also the stat system used to throw an error if 4 or less images were in on a game, it will no longer do that anymore of course. I also added some fixes for people who upload images in 720p to try to improve accuracy. This has turned out to be a real challenge. Hopefully tonight we'll see a lot of improvements -Tristan
