NHL18 connection issues

Does anyone have connection issues on the new game for 1 my ping is a lot higher and inconsistent for most games I go 8-15 ping and after 7pmish my ping goes to 60-70+ I had my internet company at my house several times and couldn't find anything wrong does anyone know any fixes

 

I think the biggest issue is the game switching you servers without telling you. Always check which server you are on, my ping on east is 7-12 and on west is 40.

 

I have 1% packet lose every other game, never had it once in NHL 17. I also get random parts of the game where I get speed lag which I've never had before on any other game.

 

Mine started doing this towards the end of 17. It's now consistent at least once a game in 18

Same problem deke im either 25 or 75 ping

 

Same here... started in July for me... happens in NHL and rocket league, maybe its an xbox issue?? Happens about every 20 minutes for 5-10 seconds

 

I also get the same thing but it is only in 18 and it lasts probably 10 seconds

 

I always sit between 9-12 ping (except for West Coast it sits at 40), and I still without fail have to get one massive lag spike during every single game on NHL18. Doesn't happen on any other games. On the bright side I haven't lagged out of a single game, and I haven't had many teammates lag out either. I guess I'll take one lag spike per game rather than people constantly lagging out... How much more could you expect from EA? Lol

 

How do you check server?

 

Like nyr said for no reason twice a game ill speed lag for no reason for like a solid 30 seconds

 

It's been a problem since Mid 17...did all the traces and tests for EA, was good for a week then went back to shit. I've played one game at 23 ping which has been the best/lowest I've ever had in 2 years... #ServersCantHandleIt

Search for clubs in EASHL, the server that says recommended is the server you're on.

 

Any word on this? A lot of people seem to be having this problem and there probably is a solution, right?

@jackD00P I don't think there is

 

I mentioned this last week. For me the game is switching my servers all the time, so be sure to check your servers before you play. It also switches after games so you have to check almost every time.

 

Lagged out first time in 2 years tonight.
