NHL 2K9 New Team League with a twist

Hey guys,

Today we want to suggest a new idea in Team League Play, using NHL 2K9.

This Team League will incorporate ideas from Singles and Team Leagues. We are hoping this will become a solid Team League Alternative for guys who just want to play with a few friends.

The NHL2K Team League will run with 6-8 Teams for a beta test season. It will allow us to fully explore all the added advantages the 2k Web support allows.

Here is the twist - 3 man teams. For Example -Pop, Kiddstyle, and OTH would be a Team. That's it - no worrying about games per week/trades/etc.

We would use Position Lock. So the gameplay would be similar to the NHL 08 Team League, but you will be playing every game with your two buddies.

If you are interested - send me a pm with your chosen teammates, and we look forward to hitting the ice for a new variation of Team league Play.

Everyone who had sent in interest over the past few weeks, please send again. Now that the EA League is off to the races and I change my focus again.

 

I believe I have 3 teams interested in a 2 man league - is there any chance dallas could get a 4th and play as 2 teams?

i dont have a team to bring with me since im the only one in my group of peeps on 09 to have 2k9, but if others want to join up, im down. I find myself needing a break from 09 more and more lately.
