I don't really see it being slower. I find that their is less responsiveness to the game on the sticks being either the LS or RS. If they fix the response time (which could just be an beta issue) it should feel the same as 17. My issue is that the game has been dumbed down so much and slowed down so much that any monkey can pick up this game and know the basics of how to score and what works in certain situations. Some are better at it than others but their needs to be a better way to let better players show up more often in games. The reason you rarely see the smaller players builds used (Playmaker, Dangler, sniper) is because you can get the exact same speed and talents out of say a PWF or Grinder build and have the ability to run around hitting all game. Someone such as a playmaker, snp, or dangler build should be significantly faster than a grinder or PWF build. The parity in the league is now gone creating a much smaller skill gap because of the lack of depth in statistics for each build. If the game would allow say for a dangler to not only out skate a PWF but slip around them more often with more agility and quicker deke times you would see more players using a skill build rather than a build used by everyone and their mothers. This would also help with a faster game experience for players looking for that and increase the value of people who are effective using certain builds instead of everyone using the same build and just being better at holding the puck or turding.
