New NHL Scoreboard L We are live with the new NHL scoreboard, The new scoreboard can support multiple leagues, either standard manually input stat leagues like we are doing for Season 7 or sync'd from an online 2k league. Mark this day in your calenders, This is a turning point for the NHL league's here at leaguegaming. The task of manual stat entry will be gone, and replaced with an automatic system that can pump out 80times more stats and data. Season 2 of our NHL Fantasy league will be the first leaguegaming league to support this new technology, followed by Season 8 of our NHL Sim league in apr-may. Here's some details of the new power of stat tracking with the new scoreboard. -Individual Player Stats Every single shot a NHL Player take's is recorded. And grouped by type. The shot type's recorded are: -----Slapshot -----Snapshot -----Wristshot -----Backhand -----Dive -----Redirection -----Deflection -----Wrap Around -----Credited (only used for goals, IE if a goalie knocks the puck in and player was last to touch it) The same is done by a player's goal's scored. You can now see what type of shot each player scores with. This should be very helpful for scouting an opponent Every single penalty a player takes and every penalty a player draws on the other team is recorded and grouped based on the following type: -----Interference -----Spearing -----Tripping -----Elbowing -----Roughing -----CrossChecking -----Slashing -----Fighting -----DelayofGame -----Hooking -----Boarding -----Charging Every faceoff a player takes is recorded and who he faced. This gives you a players vs record by team , or by individual player. For example you can see Mats Sundin's faceoff history vs Mike Modano, or Mats Sundin's history vs the Dallas stars. Other individual player stats that are recorded are: Points, Goals, Assists,PP Points, PP Goals,PP Assists,SH Points, SH Goals, SH Assists, Game winning goals, +/- , Time on Ice , Shots on goal,Hits,Penalty's, Faceoff wins, Faceoff losses, Faceoff %, Productivity. Here's an example of a player's stat page http://www.leaguegaming.com/nhl/player.cfm?playerid=10145&sel_leagueid=24 -Team Line Stats Each manager can go into their options and setup their lines on the leaguegaming scoreboard. This is a very useful tool to scout your own team or something else's with. The stats that are recorded for a team line are: Points,Goals, Assists, +/-,ATOI, Shots on goal, hits and penalty's. You can see a team's line total's for the season, or you can look inside each game played to get a game's total (very very useful) Here's an example of a team's line stats http://www.leaguegaming.com/nhl/team_line.cfm?teamid=1&sel_leagueid=24 -Team Stats Every shot and shot type a player on a team is recorded and grouped, Same as the individual player's. So for example you can see what a team may score 55% of it's goals from Slap Shots, or a team shots 70% of it's shots as wristshots. The same is tracked by penalty type. Every pen a team has taken or drawn is grouped. We've also added more team stats to track. Team's +/-, Penalty Killing %, Faceoff % Here's an example of the team page http://www.leaguegaming.com/nhl/team.cfm?teamid=1&sel_leagueid=23 -Game Recap We've also beef'd up the game recap page. Boxscore: You can see the complete player box score showing each players Goals, Assists, Points, +/-, PP Goals, PP Assists, Shots on Goal, Hits, Faceoff (win/tot), Time on ice & penalty's Team Lines: Also a break down line for line , Showing you each lines Points, Goals, +/-, Time on ice, Shots on goal, hits and Penalty's Game Log: Game log show's you everything that happened in a game. Goto the Nhl scoreboard (nhl icon to the right of the ticker). Now change the league to either our fantasy test league, or We Want the cup's CIHL league. Enjoy!
very nice work indeed. just a question. will there be a spot on the league gaming site to add in a recap on behalf of the players on how the game went?
