My Thought/Rant of ASG S27

I never knew how much discredit and hate the media team got until i joined and got involved. Anything that happens in this league someone has to complain. Understand one thing when taking initiative to do an all star game for a virtual league.

NOT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE PERFECT.

If i don't recall last season there were people complaining because some teams had no one representing their team in an all star game and there were multiple players from each team in the ASG, this season its the opposite lol like come on.

I am now on the media team and i don't know what we can and cant say in regards to our voting but i can honestly tell you that every single one of us had their own thought of putting 2 people from same team in the line up but we all agreed eventually that this was the fair way. I will speak for myself when I say and I have no problem saying it but KSP was snubbed. But why should 2 of the 6 people in the line up be Rockford? 2 isn't a lot per say but its 1/3 of the line up would Rockford (technically). And same for a team like Rochester or Cleveland only having 1 player being represented it sucks we know the Media team doesn't need to be reminded of how good someone is doing because we all know.. we talked about player in the league on a show every week lol.

Top teams will all have a lot of players who we think should be there but this way was fair.
The good news is @Stoner x 95 thought of a really good way to keep everyone happy (we hope) and I myself hope to see it pushed to this method. as for this season it will be the way us media and Especially Buck organized it and we all should appreciate it.

The best way to sum up this method is one player from each team can feel recognized for their play this season on whatever team they're on and each team can be represented respectfully. Its just a game and if you're good at the game you shouldn't need to be in a "all star game" to know you're good at the game.

 

Not informative and pointless. I am disappointed in your effort on this topic considering how much more effort the rest of your media peers put in. A lot of people were looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this subject and are disappointed, I am in such category.

Stop complaining about people that commit several hours of their life every week for a virtual sports league all so you can play. Join the media team and do something about it if you want change, don't just complain like a teenager who didn't get what he wanted for Christmas.

 

People just don't appreciate anything.

When something is wrong, could be handled better, and needs reworked to satisfy people... I like how the instant rebuttal/argument against is always "it's a VIRTUAL LEAGUE!" "You're all nerds!" "Dont you have lives!?"

Simple, fix the problem if their is one and quit the bullshit. People dedicate a lot of time to playing in this league. They deserve more than being called "LIFERS" "NERDS" and "NO LIFES".

 

The ASG will always need to reworked in someones mind. Either not enough teams are represented, or not enough of the top talent got picked. Either way someone is going to be salty and complain, when at the end of the day the people that are setting all of this up for us "nerds" dedicate a whole shit tonne more time to this league than any of the players do. Not to mention that its all on a volunteer basis. In hind sight the ASG should be full of Management Media and site staff as they are the real All stars in this league, without them it wouldn't exist.

I think what some people are upset about is there are people with losing records playing in the game. That I get. But caring so much to make a post is funny
