What if we added motivation to try to get big contracts instead of people just changing names to get bid on low to make stacked teams. Have individual banners for making X money or something else just to make the bidding process more realistic.

 

As other have mentioned, the mobile app can use some updates. Some fixes/implementations I'd personally like to see:

1) Fix filters in player stats because they simply don't work. By team, by position, etc. I have to switch over to main site to see that.

2) Ability to scroll horizontally in forum posts. Right now it is impossible to see the players of the week, power rankings, etc on mobile.

3) Ability to see full game summary on mobile (this is less important because I can always switch over to the forum, but I'd like to he able to see TA/GAs and Faceoff % on mobile, not just points).

4) Most importantly: an enhanced tool for making lines on mobile. Doing lines on my phone is an absolute nightmare. A cleaner, more convenient GUI would be greatly appreciated by everyone, I'm sure.

This is all I could think of on the top of my head. If i find anything else, I'll update this list. Thanks for the hard work thus far @Tris10, I know how frustrating web development can be.

That is likely the issue. This is probably a stupid question, but where can I update the app? I've looked everywhere for the apk but can't find it haha

Still does not work for me. Filter by team works just fine, however nothing changes if I try to filter by position or stats

 

Not sure if mentioned but i have the latest android app update and players' salaries on roster round up to nearest million.

 

Leaguearena (RIP) had a chat feature. While laggy it was effective to message a member quickly. Would be nice to see.

 

Most importantly though, in subreddits like /r/nba and /r/hockey when a team is eliminated from post season contention their flairs are faded. Would be nice to see them be faded not just in the playoff bracket but in the shoutbox!

 

I think we need a new leader, someone call trump to fix this.

Why would anyone want a big contract in a cap league? The lower the better - means there's more to build the rest of the team.

 

Because this is a simulation league. There should be a way to simulate the ambitions of different players. It could create an issue for the owners and GMs, but it is realistic.

 

You really think top players care about trophies on a website? They just want to play and win with their buddies lol.
But I'm sure we can give you one.

 

Then they can go make a club together. This is, once again, a simulation hockey league. This is not an NBA simulation league.

 

The best players still get paid? I don't understand what your point is.
Owners won't let REALLY good players slip on a cheap contract, unless the guy is an absolute cancer to a team.
So your point would be? That owners suck? Maybe some of them do, but 1 player won't ever want to have a high salary because it means worse teammates in the end.

 

I like how you are focusing on the top paid players. I'm talking about the lower paid players and such just being ok with that. Give them motivation. Get good kid
