Media Mad Dog Radio Episode 1

I dont understand the hate, Vez. Are there not different types of shows on sports networks? Are they all about players and stats?? Of course not.
I really hope you are just messing around with these comments.

 

That's why I liked the idea of Maddens doing the show when he asked me about it last week. I would love to have more shows that have different angles and viewpoints. We dont want 5 clone shows on the AHL. That would make no sense.

My hope with Media is that people listen to all the shows and read the articles and rankings. This is why all of this is described as Multimedia. If you dont like something, you have options.

 

I enjoy both they're just different that's all and some might enjoy one more then the other

In no way would I want to minimize what you guys do with your show: it's well put together and informative: what I like about this one is that it talks about players that I may have never had a chance to play with or against. So this gives me a chance to get someone's perspective on those players that might know them.

 

Agreed, the amount of media is amazing. These media people are putting in lots of hard work and hours of their time for no reason other than our enjoyment. If you don't like something, then don't watch or read it. I like it all though, great work everyone.

 

I agree it is not a super easy thing to do. At the same time i listen to tsibbs show every week they go over alot of issues i usually don't even know about until i hear it from them. At the same time because they do that i figured I would do a show that features players stats etc... because i felt there was a need for it, and at the same time wanted to try my luck at it. But in no way do i want people to not watch one show or the other I hope everyone can look forward to watching both and enjoying more coverage on the league.

 

Ofcourse I'm kidding. I know you take the time and work hard on the podcast and all and it's awesome, just the whole 30 minute on Stockton gets repetitive. Just an opinion

Was a good listen, you should see if theres a way you can get highlights into the show as well as the standings/power rankings. I am sure its a shit ton of work, but im only suggesting it haha. Maddens has a 90s sportscenter feel to his show and sibs and vibez have a mike and mike feel to their show, both shows complement the other well. Would be cool if future interviews were players that you focus on in your review of the power rankings as well, leave the gms/bogs to the other guys.

Thanks for the ideas. I will say i do have plans to get some players on in the future but probably not until after the 4th of July sense i am going on vacation and i am sure alot of others are too. I will say i have 2 people lined up for a special Friday edition of the show this week!
