Media LGHL S28 Studs and Duds, Week 1

STUDS

- Sejje 19 (LW) 3-0-0 15PTS 7G 8A +11

It's almost a requirement to put anyone who has a stat line like this on the list. Him and his line laid the hammer down on some of Vegas' top forwards and the only forward line Dallas actually has. The Saint Louis win was just the cherry on top. If MasterAmerica can keep feeding this guy the puck expect him to be a Art Ross contender on a good Winnipeg team.


- X Brandon VI (LW) 2-0-1 12PTS 8G 4A +5 72.7 SH%

For being a 500k third liner he sure does a good job of putting the puck into the net with his limited touches. The only question mark is the +5 from that record. Maybe some of these were powerplay goals, which is just as important as a regular 5 on 5er.


- T1 Clamps (RD) 3-0-0 9PTS 1G 8A +12

Granted his stats got a nice bump from a somewhat weak level of talent he went up against, but nonetheless 9 points from the point and a +12 is about a good a week any defenseman can get. He'll be expected to perform similarly as NYI has some big Western Conference matchups this week.


- APsychicTaco 6-0 90.2 Sv% 0.83 GAA 2SO

Smitty has been very consistent throughout the week, posting only one game below an 80% save night (the standard that most people deem good enough for a night). Expect him to be getting all of the biggies like Toronto, NYI, and Tampa next week.


DUDS

- l1l Little l8l(LW) 0-3-0 0PTS -11 and Dieu Charlo(C) 0-3-0 0PTS -11


It doesn't matter who you play over the course of a week. If you can't get one point and get shut out in all your games you are immediate trade bait. Not much more I can say about this duo.


- Hooter (RD) 0-3-0 4PTS 1G 3A -10

Hooter was expected to do far more for this team than a -10 and a 0-3 week. Not much else to say but get better or Jay will be making some block adjustments.


- King Natzu 0-4 68.1 Sv%, 3.75 GAA

The stats just say it for themselves, it was a really rough week for the Minnesotan netminder. The week concluded with a move to Saint Louis which should hopefully be the change in scenery he needs to put this behind him. That's a rather high GAA and low Save Percentage for what's expected out of him.

Taco is the man!

I know you won't talk about yourself but you still deserve it. That guy had an incredible 6-0 week with only 5GA ! I know we got 6 good Dman in Toronto but we couldn't get that perfect week without Taco and Lundy. Taco did some amazing saves to keep us in the game but this isn't all he does. That goalie help his team by giving good advices when things don't go as planned. Also, having him in net just make us play better because we trust him and he also trust us.

@APsychicTaco you are in the race for the Vezina. I know it's just week 1 but the way you play is the way to win.

So yeah, I felt like I had to say a few words about him for all the media he does in this league.

I also second adding @Bounce xb 4 shutouts is not an easy task. Especially with all the "EA Goals" and agree entirely @APsychicTaco is a beast

holy fuckkk @Hooter out here defying all odds and coming up with a 3-0 week. Talk about a team that had virtually zero chance at making the playoffs just 83 (@jackD00P) short hours ago - now tied with the week 1 cup winners, MY LG OILERS (#4-1 never forget). With just 7 short weeks and 65 games left, will @Hooter continue to be able to THESE KNIGHTS MY GOD WEEK 2 TALKIN BOUT PLAYOFFS LETS GOOOO!!!!1!!1!!!
