To clear up any confusion around the league, here is some additional information:

Official Game Times and Position Lock:

There are 9 games per week in LG. We are going to use the exact same times for the PSN league that is currently on the XBL league. This means you can STILL play in both LG leagues on both consoles if you want, you just need to be smart about picking different game times.

Within the LGHL PSN league, each individual skater will be required to play three games per week. Goalies can play up to a maximum of 6 games per week, with the backups playing at least 3, etc.. they are flexible.

    The timing is as follows:

    Sunday: 9PM EST & 10PM EST
    Monday: 9PM EST & 10PM EST
    Tuesday: 10PM EST & 11PM EST
    Wednesday: 10PM EST & 11PM EST
    Thursday: 9PM EST

Players are required to sign-up every week prior to Sunday and it's pretty easy to do this via the forum locker room or through your smartphone. Note, locker rooms won't be available until the owners for the teams are chosen later this month.

Please note that we have a position lock system. Prior to bidding you will be required to choose your position for the 'entire season'. If you are a G, you can only play Goalie. If you choose RD/LD you can only play defense. If choose a forward position then you can play either LW, C or RW. Players on the official NHL rosters cannot play out of their selected position, however, an ECU from the AHL Training Camp can be called up to fill into any position.

Our league structure (based on number of sign-ups) is as follows:

We will run all 30 NHL teams with 17 roster players on each team. 15 skaters and 2 goalies. These players will all be selected in bidding by the owners/gms of the respective NHL teams.

(Dependant on our sign-up numbers) Anyone not selected for the NHL will be able to sign-up for the CHL. The CHL will consist of 10-12 teams that will have 20 roster players, owners, etc.. Those players will automatically be assigned a random AHL team in which they will individually each become affiliated with an NHL team. This means that the CHL players can play within their own league and are also 'training camp' roster players of the NHL for emergency call-ups.

To summarize, we will not have an AHL. It will be used strictly as a way to randomly assign CHL players to NHL teams in the case of emergency call ups.
