IHL Tournament Game Results

Let me start this off by saying thanks to everyone who participated in this Best of 7 series Tournament, you guys definitely deserve a roster spot to represent your country's. This Best of 7 International Tournament was very short due to the lack of Offseason time we had to run this Tournament as many other things were going on at the time and we didn't want to take up all of your guys time as we understand trying to get on a team for next season and have a roster spot secured is more important than an Offseason Tournament, but as short as the Tournament was I would have to say that this was definitely fun and exciting to be a part of and will go in the Offseason Events books without a doubt.

Before I get into the game results I just want to also thank the other Management people from both teams for being such great Owners, GM's, and AGM's as we all communicated well together to try to make this Tournament nothing but the best for you guys. You have to give credit where its due, Without such excellent Management people there wouldn't be an exciting series without talented players from both teams as people want to watch “The Best” players participate in this International Tournament and that's just exactly what they got. @KittyKing69 @Tylee @J_Tryhard_412 @Koriegh @I2I-Way-Hockey

Special thanks to the Team Canada Owner himself @KittyKing69 for picking me to be the GM for Team Canada as I enjoyed working with you to build such a strong talented team.

If you looked at the 2 teams many would think that Team USA had this series no problem as they had majority of the “Good” players, that wasn't the case though as Team Canada put up a fight every game and shown why they deserve to be the better International team.




Game #1: Canada vs USA


This was a great game to kick off this IHL Tournament! Canada had a strategy this game to come out with their 3rd line to try to steal a win over USA and that's exactly what they did. Without looking at the stats, overall what an intense game to watch as both teams were very hungry for that win to lead the series.


Game #2: Canada vs USA



This was a disappointment on behalf of Team Canada as my and other line mates performance this game was terrible as we couldn't get nothing going all game and was struggling to produce as that's not like us. Just by looking at the match ups you can tell what team “should” win the game, that wasn't the case though as Team USA made a statement this game by stealing a win against Team Canada 1st line.


Game #3: Canada vs USA



This was a Sub game for the most part as Team Canada threw out an entire Sub line to try to steal another win just like they did in Game #1 with the 3rd line. What an intense game without a doubt as both teams were going back and forth all game, had many people off their seats couple times as the intensity was triggering many.


Game #4: Canada vs USA



Team USA showing that dominance roster over Team Canada as they come out in this game with a power house line up showing no mercy to the Canadians. With such great defense pair USA threw at Canada in this game, it was a struggle for Canada to come into their zone and try to get something going as the stats show.



Game #5: Canada vs USA



Another tight intense game as shown in the stats. Not many shots were taken in this game, more fancy plays and cycling the puck around as a team and not just taking random shots played a factor in this game as Team Canada only had 9 shots while Team USA had 6 shots.





Game #6: Canada vs USA



This game was probably the most fun and exciting game to play in and or watch for many as honestly I thought we were playing against top quality players as it felt just like a competitive club match up taking place. Without a doubt what a nail-biting game as every player's performance was good in this game making it the best game in this series in my opinion.


Game #7: Canada vs USA



Unfortunately in this game things didn't work out for Team USA as players were quitting after the 2nd period as they were tired of getting dismantled by Team Canada power house team. The game had to be stopped after the 2nd period as Team USA had to get new players to play the 3rd period, honestly not going to lie the new group of players that Team USA got I think had better chemistry as Team USA ALMOST made a comeback to win the game and series but fell just short. You have to give credit for the Americans for sticking out the tough loss and showing respect to Team Canada.

Team Canada wins this series 4-3 in an intense battle to take home the Gold Medal and prove that they are the better International team!

A very hard-fought battle by both teams. Despite the no shows in this Tournament, I thought this series was very fun and very competitive. I just want to thank once again the Tournament Management people for doing such an amazing job hosting this non forgetting Tournament and the players for participating in this IHL Offseason Tournament.



Team Canada = GOLD

Team USA = Silver


Fun Fact: Team USA had a 3-1 series lead over Team Canada.





I just want to say Congratulations to every player that was a part of this International Tournament as you guys deserved a roster spot!

Good series guys, unfortunately USA had alot of internal problems on the team and some sore losers. Overall good series it was fun and i have nothing but respect for all of team Canada.

Game 6 was dynamite. By far the best competitive game I have participated in with LG. Great series guys and best of luck to you all in your future endeavours

Good Series boys I only played one game but it was a helpful one to give us the tie
