How I fixed my input delay...

He is exaggerating very heavily, it was probably like 30-60 ms. 1 second is unplayable. You would go to shoot on a break and skate past the net

 

On my newer tv it turned gaming mode off, on gaming mode it was around 30ms. Still terrible.

 

This is very interesting tme, would love to hear from a G perspective. The difference from 20 ms and 40 ms (in NHL 17's network performance menu) is being able to make a 1 T save and having no animation at all. Not sure how that relates to monitor vs tv but that's why I'm intrigued.

My brother recently played a night's worth of league games on his Samsung monitor and had great success so I might play some games on his shit this weekend. Just got to find some better competition then drop-ins.

 

Go for it jade...it made a huge difference for me. Feels like a different game...

 

You could try out one of the new edition ps4 controllers as well, since they offer an option to actually be connected through usb cable instead of always playing on a wireless controller. Not sure if the difference will be noticeable, but every bit helps when dealing with input delay.

I found the pinball arcade to be the best game to test input lag. I used this game messing with settings when I bought my tv. I'd turn game mode off/on, teak processing etc. Pinball is great cause it was a free download, think I got 1 table free, and it is a basic function u are looking at by pushing a button, and watching the flippers. No delay, good settings, any delay, tweak or invest as needed.

 

Dont laugh but I play this game lol. Everyone used to make fun of me for playing pinball video games.

 

Haha it's a great game man. I roll with the T2, net gen, Ripleys and Dracula mostly. Next gen prolly being my no. 1
