1. Work something out for the Ds; - Too easy to make an offside when controlling the puck near the blue line; give the D a chance to keep the puck in the zone. - Better physics concerning player to player impact, or insert a new feature with the left trigger; for instance, I am pushed far away from the crease (that I try to protect desperatly!) when an other player drives the net. Can it be reversed? Meaning that the player who runs into the guy that stands his ground will receive an certain amount of the impact, proportionnaly of his speed and his weight (and the weight of the other player). To make it short, I would like an option to brace up the skates of your player on the ice, giving the impression that the player is heavy and strong on his legs. 2. Also, I would like to see changes on the right joystick features. Is it normal that it's the same button to shoot, deke, protect puck, AND check?! when you need to take a rebound or a one-timer, and instead you give a hardcheck to your opponent (if he happens to be near you), leading to a penalty. Is there a way to avoid this? Concerning EASHL; - Give the option to choose how many players your team would accept to play against, instead of having a random numbers of players when searching a "relaxed" team, often leading at a 6 vs 2, 3 players - Having more than one line during games; perhaps two lines would bring the challenge to a next level. (10 players plus a goalie per team)
Maybe add more customization to club? 2K gives you the ability to customize almost everything for their club system in NBA, why not bring something like that? Be able to 3 jerseys (home, away, alternates), customs goal horns based on NHL teams (similar to HUT how you can change your goal horn), and overall make it more customizable. When we lost builds we lost a lot of the customization. Now I believe that going to this new build system was a good idea, I'd like to be able to customize my player/team still.

I agree with most points. But don't reward people that force a cross crease and the pick magically goes through the defenseman. Fix lag in club And eliminate 2s from EASHL by implementing a 2v2 coop seasons like they have in fifa. I think that would be extremely popular. A lot of other things need to be fixed but I don't feel like writing a book.
make it so hitting open nets is easier. with the way the game has been since 09 the shot accuracy goes way down on an open net and rewards goalies for being out of position.
EASHL ignore all people asking to bring back customizable builds. Keep the class system. Make it easier to knock the puck off skaters holding the stick out, it is too broken where they can keep it from defenders too easily.
Running into people without the puck and stopping them without a penalty is a big problem. Part of this is due to the skating because it's so bad. Go back to the way the right stick used to be, the current version is horrid with auto dekes
Get rid of all the stupid auto animations, let me control my guy. Also, end of the year EASHL tourney or bust.
I think it would be really fun if the Be a GM Mode opened up more leagues. As in, if you want to run a CHL team you'll get to go through the draft every year to get players, while also trying to make your players the best they can be so they get drafted high and become something special in the NHL. It would also be fun, if there was GM contracts again, and if you're not cutting it in the NHL you may need to take a year or two contract in Sweden for instance to show that you're still good enough to be in the NHL, while giving you a different way to play the mode. Also it would be fun for that to be a part of Be a Pro as well. Like if you're not getting into the NHL, or you're not getting the minutes you want, you could take a big contract to go overseas and play there for a season or two, which allows you to earn a more lucrative contract. That could also play a part in when you start as a draftable player in the mode as well, meaning you could be a Swedish superstar who plays over seas against men rather then kids their age, kind of like what Matthews is doing right now. GM Connected would be really nice if it came back, though I know that sort of thing can be stressful on servers so I figured that's why they had stayed away from it. The create a team feature needs to be brought back, both online for clubs, and offline for however you want to use it. I think it should be kind of like NBA 2k this year, as I really enjoyed their creator. I'm sure there's more, but nothing is coming to mind right away at the moment.
Bring back the player builds, if they don't wanna get rid of these pre builds, just have two custom slots for those who want to create their own build, hell the pre builds can have a higher overall for those who think that matters Bring back the skate and stick curve customization Speed the game back up to how it use to be Change the poke checking, nobody, not even myself should have my back turned to a skater and effectively poke check the puck off someone's stick, at most the stick should be able to move from hip to hip (180 degrees) Change the stick lift button to "B", how many times we see someone guarding the puck, lose it and then high stick someone, B does nothing on defense, so why not change it to B and avoid that issue Skates should also not be the best at taking the puck off someone's stick, whether you skate by or you're in a scrum for the puck, you can win the battle, turn your guy and lose the puck without the person stick lifting or poking it away, just their Skates take it off the stick, this issue I see happen a lot, and needs to be changed allow your players to hold the line again, no longer can we stop and hold the line for whatever reason personally i dont mind the "stick handling" dekeing, but i also understand others that hate it since it can screw up the stick handling, maybe LB+right thumbstick for those moves? obviously gotta fix the goalie interference, i wouldnt even mind seeing the goalies untouchable in the crease again, this is just too brutal, way too easy to score by just running into the goalie, put the "force bubble" around the goalie and itll be fine or at least until these are just a few points that can change a frustrating game to a better game to play and more realistic, in reality next game wont be the best game ever, just because of how much work this game needs to find the right path, but maybe fixing some of the basic stuff can help turn the game around quicker
Goalies should have 1/2 to none of the input delay of a skater. Its already hard enough to get into position, set your stance and anticipate a wrist shot, slap shot or God forbid,...a cross crease one timer to an open player sitting at the faceoff dot, not to mention the absolute garbage wrap around animation this game allows skaters to tuck in from the opposite side of the net. I know that you promised tougher defensive puck play to curb garbage passing from getting thru, but let's be real and admit that's a fucking joke, because the same shitty passes still get thru even the best positioned defenseman. Nice job on finally raising the position of the goalies glove after 5 years, but throw us a bone when it comes to "actual game-like movement" to make saves versus a skater and what you allow them to do with the puck. We, as goalies, would like to be viewed as a skill position in the game, that has the opportunity to be a game changer for our team if we have the ability to do so,....and not just another obstacle the other 10 skaters on the ice have to get around before they score their eventual "game winner". Stop building this game to bend the rules in favor of skaters,....stop bending the rules at all. Have a game start evenly, no matter which team is home or away unless they've won like 5 straight home games,....make the friggin game real, make it fair and make it fun for all positions, not just the positions that score the goals.
One last thing,..add a custom mask creator. If we can customize every other aspect of a players equipment, looks etc, etc, make it complete with the ability to create your own goalie mask. Even if you set a certain amount of templates to choose from as your design and you gave us the option to make that design whatever color we wanted, ...that would be a great start.
1.) Game Caster mode like in CoD. Be able to not only watch a video on YouTube or Twitch but have the ability to go in to the actual game and look at Instant Replay or look at the perspectives of each player. Possibly have a feature to let you "draw" on the Instant Replay screen. (Circle key players on a play, etc.) 2.) Realistic 3 on 3 OT then Shootout in EASHL. Designate players after the 3rd Period in the intermission screen. Host gets a pop-up screen asking what positions he wants to put on the ice after each whistle. EX (RW C RD) after whistle -> (LW C LD). Those combinations would continue unless a team calls a Time Out at which point you would have the option of switching the lines. If penalties occur the extra man on the PP would be the extra forward not in that combo. Then if both teams are still tied, go to a shootout. After the OT the Host gets another screen asking what order he wants his players to shoot. EX (LW RW RD C LD) then if it goes extra frames, it repeats itself. 3.) Coach's Challenge. Take out Auto-Offside calls. Make a gray area. Don't let every call go but if it's close enough and it results in a goal, let the players in the game decide if they want to challenge. Also, Goaltender Interference... let the refs call a goal sometimes and have the team decide whether or not to challenge the play. The Challenge rules apply, so if the call Stands or is Confirmed that team forfiets their timeout.
